You may as well give the cup to the winner of tomorrow nights game... France dont stand a chance.

Neither Wales nor France would have had a chance against the winner of tomorrows game.

I can't say i thought that tackle deserved a red card. Putting the Welsh down to 14 that early was always going to put them under too much pressure. Credit to them they got that close and scored the only try of the match though.

What happened to my post regarding awarding the man of the match before the game was over?
Was it somehow offensive?

It'll also make the Welsh even hungrier to salvage some pride next week too. Let's not forget the Rugby World Cup has a 3rd place playoff

Well anyway I think it's ridiculous awarding the man of the match before full time. What if Williams pick up a 2nd try? Surely 2 tries in that snoozefest would have seen him pick up the man of the match.

That tackle was bad but it didn't warrant a red card. Yellow and a citing at most. It ruined the spectacle of the game...which France were very lucky to win.

I heard an interview with a French fan who when told that they never play 2 good games in a row said "France will beat Wales but play badly...then, the week later, they play good! Tres bien"

Don't ever write off the French. Kiwis of all people should know that.

Kickby at its finest.

The team with less men, who scored the only try lost.

The team with more men, no tries, but a better kicker won.

Repeatable every 4 years.

Would it be such a kick fest he Penalty Goals were only worth 2 points and drop goals were only worth 1 point? As it is they increased the value of a try to 5 points.

It's so hard to break the line, the field is too congested, the defense is up in your face, there's nowhere to go. Not surprised teams don't back themselves to score tries.

Wont be easy for the Welsh now. Wales down to 14 men. Captain Sam Warburton sent off for a tackle that if he did it in the NRL would only get placed on report.
Still. GO WALES!

The rule for spear tackles In N.R.L. and Rugby Union are the same, dismissal from the field of play, the Union code adheres to their rule book, the N.R.L. is a different kettle of fish.
