Ellis is the big loss.

That said on paper, you guys are far from the spoon, as always, some young guys, good expeirence and two of the best play makers in the game.

Seasons are long.....

100% correct. If a backrower or two step up and an outside back or two as well we can go really well.

Ellis is the big loss but he was injured a lot and had his worst year. I think we will get by.

The Anasta experiment is the one I'll be watching next year.
That is the make or break position shift to wether next year being great move or a another dud buy that we will be discussing in 12 months from today.

Benji has to be 6 regardless who is 7. Ridiculous waste of season moving Benji for that experiment.

The best thing to come out of this is that the senior players left behind will really be angered by this decision beau and benji are very close

Beau might not have had the explosivess or tackle breaking ability of other wingers but he largely showed himself to b solid under the high ball in 2012. This is the number 1 priority for the modern winger in an age where so many kicks are scored from tries

Hopefully Benji is smart enough to work out that they employing his best mate isn't
straight forward because he takes up such a substantial chunk of the salary cap.

If he is such a great mate, he can donate a % of his salary to Beau to keep him happy.
Or maybe they understand business is business and can still be mates.

I was not aware Lote Was extending his deal and its another example of our poor recruitment and retention policy. I officially just don't understand why they would punt loyal players for nil return.

Who gives a f**k. Seriously the players are paid well to perform. I don't want to hear about their crying even if it means Sheens goes.

Every player should be doing his best to win games for us. If they aren't trying they should f**k off. If they are whinging crying little sooks because their friends leave they should f**k off.

It is a professional sport - deal with it.

I agree the players shouldn't sook but it might help if the ultimate goal is to punt sheens.
I can't wear another season of this clown as coach. He ruined this season no two ways about it. Look at the decision to play Lawrence at 6 in the final round as another example of glaring incompetence.

It plays out one of two ways its a management/ coaching issue or the players are over hyped/not good enough. Coach is moved on or players are moved on. It look like we are getting the latter. You would just hope its not mgt looking for scapegoats to save their skins. For the record I don't rate Hino and Ryan at large salaries and believe Cronulla have done us major favours over the past few years.

Dean Collis, John Morris, Bryce Gibbs, Andrew Fifita, Ryan and Hino. If only they wanted Moltzen and Sheens as coach.

Its obvious that there was always three cliques at the Tiges:

Marshall and co
Gibbs and Fulton and Co
Farah

I would suggest that the rest of the Gibbs click will move themselves over to the Sharks - thats how it looks to be panning out.

I would also suggest that considering how "close" Marshall and Sheens are - that Sheens doesnt give a shit.

IMO - this isnt a bad thing, this club needs a clean-out.

But I do agree that the major thing we need is a new coach. I just cant accept continually playing players out of position and rarely calling up from the lower grades.

IMO - we have this next year, which I would run with, but it wont happen...

1 Tedesco
2 Korobriete
3 Fulton
4 Lawrence
5 Grant
6 Marshall
7 Miller
8 Galloway
9 Farah
10 Woods
11 Blair
12 Bell
13 Anasta

14 BMM
15 Pettybourne
16 Thompson
17 Moltz

I think one of the saddest things that has happened to this side is that Fulton was never given a go in the centres. With his size, defence, relative speed and ball playing ability he would be our Gasnier. And moving him out of the forwards allows us to play Anasta there without giving away size.

The team above has 6 "play-makers" in the side and speed to burn. If we dont go back to scoring points and being an attacking machine like we were in 05 I give up.
