Ok I can’t believe I’m saying this… but…

Anyone think maybe Kevin Walters could be a possible replacement for AOB?

The reason I say this is because Walters at least coaches an attacking style of play and I can’t imagine any team playing boring AOB football under him.

I don’t think he’s a genius by any means but his coaching style would at least compliment the strengths of some of our instinctive players like KP, Sharpe and Brown for next year.

I’m not saying this should happen but just throwing his name out there given there aren’t many options around. I would at least back him to make us a team that both competes hard and tries to take the game on. I don’t think we’d be losing games where we refuse to play footy which is what is happening now.

I assume I’ll get criticised heavily for this post but constructive thoughts are welcome…

Why not give McDermott first shot? Caretaker first and then can earn a permanent deal if he shows he can improve the team. He is already well acquainted with the players and our club.

Maybe then convince him to bring Burgess as his ass man for a while with a succession plan of some sort.

Yeah I really don’t think McDermott is the answer. He’s part of the failing structure already and the coaching staff needs an overhaul, not just the head coach.

Was the defense the issue? We defend really well, we just put ourselves into positions to concede. Put any team in our position of 20% possession and they would concede as much as us!

Wasn’t it? It fell apart once Tino and a few of their forwards had a go.

McDermott is just as culpable as the rest of the coaches.
