Real test for him on the weekend IMO in terms of what style we show up with.

Roosters have a huge and dynamic pack but their side is pretty suspect defensively. We show up trying to grind them rather than throwing it around and I really don’t think AOB can be helped.

This side has just shown him how to save his job. It could be as simple as him meeting his players halfway. He can always go back to the grind out style if we start getting smashed through errors. But he can also send out the message to move the ball and push their luck. We seem to be pretty good at scoring points when we do.
I could be wrong but it is like AOB has delivered half of Melbourne’s philosophy - defence first - but forgotten the other half of the game plan. Scoring.

Brown signed Mann as a utility, AOB played him in almost every position besides front row until he realised he was best served as a utility.
He also sent Jacob Kiraz packing because he didn’t rate him.
