John Morris has the best CV of any of those guys and is a former Knights player and saw what it was like at the club in the glory days which is a bonus. He ticks all those boxes if you want to go down the road of hiring someone who’s affiliated with the club/region.

So to me he’s the stand out candidate imo. Unless a really successful current NRL coach had a moment of insanity and decided they wanted to quit their role and coach us lol.

I personally don't agree. It's not the 90s anymore.

Ricky was approached by players in the offseason telling him he needed to stop being a dick to them after a loss.

Ricky took the criticism on board and now has them sitting on top of the ladder.

In previous years, Weekes would have copped the Savage treatment for his mistakes but Ricky stood by him and now he’s one of the form players in the comp.

I watched Chammas's spot on 100% Footy and he claimed Green had a big part in selling to Brown the way we're going to play with him next year. Who knows how true that is.

The question mark over Dylan has never been talent/potential.
Just having a half that can realistically threaten the line would've won us probably 3-4 more games this season alone. It is so evident that halves are the biggest issue with the side. Regardless of Browns flaws, he's just massive upgrade on what we currently have and that's the way we should be looking at it.

However, there is a clear leader there, and it’s not the players telling them who they want in charge.

They've been peddling AOB fired and KP gone for years. It's dart throwing.

"barring collapse"

Our 3 best players are out for the year.
In an already thin squad.
With a tough run home.

The expectation SHOULD be collapse.
