Does anyone know what years he signed after leaving cowboys to sign as flanno assistant this year will be 2 years.

Dean Young CAN NOT hide from the fact he is the defensive coach. One job !! Not only is our team waiting on their heels for the attacking sides in any game it has created a lot more time and opportunities for them to pick our side apart. With no pressure or speed from our defensive strategy presently. It isn’t and hasn’t worked but no plan B. I don’t believe Dean is a good defensive coach he has been at the Dragons now since 2023 and the cold hard facts are our defensive structures have not improved. The nepotism in the club via Young senior has had way too much influence with our club for years now. Craigs standing in my eyes is completely tarnished now due to his support of Brett Finch a guilty online grooming paedophile. Unbelievably Craig used to be a Policeman. Craigs judgement in this instance is flawed and should be questioned especially when it comes to his son’s involvement in any capacity in our great club. I’m simply stating that the biased opinion of Craig his father should not hold any weight with the BOD’s decision on coaching staff.

With the New Ceo and New Recruitment in Daniel Anderson for 2026 Dean Young should be the first sacked from the coaching staff.
With the end of the season review D Young should be the first to be accountable for this season and last seasons down slide with the teams performance in defence has gotten worse.

How many jobs does Flanno have? Surely a senior defensive coach should be capable of running defensive drills without being babysat.

At least he can drop one job with a recruitment manager starting this week. Maybe he can babysit our senior coach more now.

If Flano believes he is being white-anted by Young, he want be spending any time trying to save his skin.

I say, act now, sack Carr and Young, had hire the Walker Brothers for the remainder of this season with an option in favour of the club.

My suggestion is to explore the idea of moving on D Young and Carr, replacing them with the Walker Brothers. This would be a seismic change. One that is desperate needed to turn things around.

Who knows, the Walker Brothers may even bring with them an undiscovered alpha prop.

Just curious what makes you so confident in these guys? Didn’t they only win one comp and that was 10 years ago now? Pretty sure they also got the spoon in their last year. What have they been doing since then?

Agreed. They seem confident though, they’ve asked titans for a one year contract with a clause to be sacked at end of season if they don’t make the 8
