This was the dumbest team I have ever seen in my life under Hook, it literally was a bloody dumb team.
I am now starting to see some smart play from the dragons, little bit of niggle, slow the ball down, tie up arms holding the ball, tacklers high locking up the ball with tacklers down low.
we wont win every week but Damm we have a team that just might make the 8 this year.
foot outside the line to win an over kick, Kyle standing close to the players trying to play the ball on a turn over to slow it down, just those little things that make a difference

Another game another embarrassing loss. The major problem remains our halves. Neither Hunt nor Kyle Flanagan are natural play makers or game managers but SF has given KF the task of sharing that role because Hunt cant manage it solo. The 5/8 is usually the runner/ backer upper part of the halves partnership with the half the organizing part. Looks to me that Hunts lack of creativity is stifling KFs more natural running game. His old man has to either sack Hunt as the prime organizer and get someone that can handle the task and leave his son to play the usual 5/8 role. Or sack both of them and bring in a completely new halves combo. But we all know Flanagan wont do either so the pair will continue to produce mediocrity and the club will continue to be only finals pretenders.

Well say no more his dad will have to make the big call for the rest of the season.

Yes because the ball was shared between the halves creating some doubt in attack for the opposing defence.

usually Hunt 90% ball, Flanno Jr 10%.
