Doesn’t suit his agenda mate. Even our defence has improved compared to last year. Haven’t been lapped either. Last year when we lost it was usually by a bit, not 8,1, and 1. Still a little early to be writing the season off. Lots more games to be played and hopefully it’s a solid victory tomorrow night
Your observation, while perceptive, highlights a concerning trend: it took eight rounds this season for a team to decisively outperform us, compared to just two or three rounds last year. If this marginal progress is deemed sufficient improvement, I find that perspective deeply regrettable. It is disheartening that our fanbase appears so willing to embrace such mediocrity.

We are scoring on average 20 points a game.
And we are scoring them all over the field.
Our only issue is our discipline with holding the ball.
If you can’t see the improvement in attack then you’re either blinded by your hatred for the coach or you’re just trolling the forum.
Ya flog.
Yet again, your claim that our attacking game has progressed is utterly baseless. I urge you to review today's match, where our offense was lackluster, uninspired, and showed no discernible improvement over the past 14 seasons of supporter disappointment.

The team appeared utterly directionless, resorting to premature kicks on the second tackle, moving sluggishly, and exhibiting a complete lack of structure in the majority of our attacking plays. If you choose to persuade yourself that our attack has advanced, you are welcome to do so; however, the statistics and stark reality unequivocally refute such optimism.

Surely Flanagan's clock is ticking as of now. Any realistic supporter can see there has been little to no improvement since he has become coach.

It's high time we as supporters stopped accepting mediocrity and actually put pressure on the club to change and improve itself.

I won't offer an opinion on his coaching but I do believe that you were probably the only club that he could've gone to, as anyone else hiring knew that to sign him meant that Kyle was locked into the 7 jersey for the duration of Snr's contract

I mean he hasn’t been in the 7 jersey once, but sure

2026 will be my final year following Rugby League. There are too many teams now, and when Flanno won it with the Sharks, it was a different game compared to today.

I honestly don't believe anyone can bring this club back to being a true heavyweight again. They should have never merged in the first place.

Rod Wishart recently spoke about how happy he was to see his son doing so well at the Storm. I truly believe that if McGregor had still been around, Tyran wouldn’t have left. The split between Illawarra and St George remains very strong.

In my view, the Illawarra Steelers should just relocate to Adelaide and become the Adelaide Steelers, while the St George Dragons should move to Tasmania. That way, even though St George entered the competition before Cronulla, the Sharks can finally have the whole southern part of Sydney to themselves.

I don't bother going to any more games in Sydney, like everything else, it's a complete rip off.
It's the NRL and the political way!

I am still in some footy despair after witnessing live such an Inept performance on a massive occasion last Friday. It was a real let down no matter what angle or bias you took into it. They were flat, ill disciplined, lethargic, slow and utterly outplayed in a game they were given close to a 50/50 chance in before kick off. The coach put them out there in that frame and the on field leadership did not inspire any different once they were out there. I give the young ones a pass, and de Belin toiled adequately and covered for a few, but Holmes was uninspiring, Sua was hardly sighted, the halves, indeed the spine, were so outplayed it’s not funny. Gutho looked like he has succumbed to the burden of carrying the attack for weeks on end. I fear a stretch of defeats in front of us, I fear they are a real show at the spoon. Until I saw what I saw on Friday I had some hope for this team, but yeah nah, not after that.

Where we go to from here to get out of this mess, no idea, but short of luring a Phil Gould type to take the role of club supremo with a legitimate 5 year plan, I can’t see a way out In my time left. I know I sound like a drama queen going off, but I saw what I saw.

I have felt the same way for quite a few seasons now , however as they say a true Dragon supporter has red and white blood flowing through his veins . The trouble is my own is gradually changing to only white .

Too many wrong decisions have been made over a span of 10 years or so which have all but left a once proud club towards the wrong end of the competition ladder for just too many seasons now .

We have all gone through major policy changes , coaches have come and gone , as have too many players of true quality leaving the Big Red V something of a shell compared to what the team once was .

Our salvation is to have board members who are truly committed to making this club one of the better clubs , they must be pro-active and positive in their approach , not settling for second best . An injection of funds so as our recruitment are able to compete with other teams for the major signings.

Hopefully this will occur soon , it is not an impossible task , one only need to look at both the Bulldogs and the West Tigers both of which have been signing capable players for many a year now , whilst we here at the Dragons are receiving the scraps from the bottom of the barrel - yet they are being hailed as prize inclusions to our roster ?

But back to you 56 - 66 I am becoming too damn old now and I still relive those golden years of your name - 56 - 66 . They are well and truly behind us now and I most sincerely hope that the Big Red V are able to have the correct people in the boardroom so as the club will once again become a finalist in the competition for many a year .
