Well it goes to show, Scumulla won the 2016 premiership peptide fuelled, Good bye Flanagan, Dean Young and Ryan Carr.
Time to start searching for new coaching staff for 2026, the search continues

Glad it wasn't me firing up this thread tonight for a change, thanks @56to66

Once again another insipid performance which is inspired by poor coaching.

Some of the apologists can and will keep rolling out their close losses excuse.

The same apologists weren't as kind when Flanagan's predecessor was sacked and in that string at the beginning of 2023 seasons we lost consecutive matches by margins of 2,6,1,2 and 2.
Narrow losses weren't enough to save the previous coach and they shouldnt be enough to save Flanagan either.

This team is showing absolutely no improvement this year, the attack is a rabble and getting worse by the week and the defence is fragile as well.

Flanagan needs to be moved on and he can take his useless son with him.

I give any NRL coach 1 year to get the house in Order, then year 2 to make semi's, year 3 fight for the title. Perfect Example is Cameron Ciraldo.
Time for the Flanagan’s to start backing there bags, I reckon we should give Brian Smith another crack.

Yep I agree that's a fair time frame for a new coach to get a side performing.

If some in here had their way, Flanagan would be given a 10 year extension and we'd all keep kidding ourselves and talk about how well we're 'building'.

I must misunderstand what building means, but I thought it means you're growing/expanding/getting better.

Not if it means Dean Young to be coach. We need much better.

I'm not sure who saw Flanagan's pre game interview on Fox tonight, but his genius tactic was 'to keep them away from our try line'.

Really inspiring stuff from the Master Coach.

If Flanno was that great Zac and Ben Hunt would have stayed.

If Flanno doesn’t turn it around, then a we probably may need to go the way of a young coach, with Brian Smith in a coaching director/recruitment role.
Brian Smith had a shot with Parramatta for another go for the gig, they've given to another Dean Young, I still think he has the best footy IQ of any coach never to win a GF.
At the moment this club needs someone like Brian Smith to set them on the right path of winning constantly week in week out, I am sick and tired of the current 13 years of Bullshit.

We are the most dumbest team in the nrl.
Maybe he should stop making statements like we are a good team they just don't know it and we will improve as we are going backwards quickly.

Already 2025 done and dusted
after round 10.
Nothing different to his pre decesesors.

Same shit with the coach has his son in the team and in 2 years has been the only player not dropped to nsw cup . The team is chocking under kyle flanagan in the side this was why hunt wanted out playing with a amateur of a player.
