Lies, damn lies and statistics.

Cherry picking the negative and, like lemmings, some people just can't help themselves by following along.

So, let's cherry pick some Positives shall we:
2025 v's 2024
Points for: 198 v's 192 - positive
Points against: 213 v's 248 - positive
Tries/game: 3.5 v's 3.2 - positive
Tackles: 365 v's 338 - positive
Missed tackles/game: 24.3 v's 26.5 - positive
Points/game: 20 v's 17.7 - positive
Linebreaks/game: 5.5 v's 4.5 - positive
Run metres/game: 1634 v's 1562 - positive
Offloads/game: 10.8 v's 10.5 - positive

To go on unfettered about we haven't improved is just lies and bait for those who are just looking at the ladder position. And, if you really want to go all in on ladder position then take note that 8th is on 10 Points, we are on 8 ie 1 game out of the 8 (channeling Mary here).

Ah, if Val could only land a few more conversions as we are negative on this stat at 66.7% v's 75%.

All these stats are available on the NRL website, for those who actually want to do some research.

So, those lies, damn lies and statistics can make anything into whatever you want to believe.
There you go, Facts. unlike the chief whiner " Im Halfwit" and his/her?? little whiners Princess flannel skirt and ilk.

Again Hornby experienced coaches don't get any support so why would a inexperienced coach get any. And yes Flannigan was not our first choice because Ryles knocked us back after getting advice from Phil Gould. If I can remember Gould warned Ryles not to coach us because we are a rabble.
Until the front office and/or owners move on were ratshit. I don't think even Bellamy could not handle our board or owners.
All the clowns on here blaming the coach are pointing in the wrong direction.

Whilst disappointed with results and our position on the ladder, I am relatively happy with our Head Coach.
He is building a good squad with a mixture of experience and youth.
The fruit will ripen with time,I would be happy to see Shane Flanagan extended for a further 2 years.
Wow. Currently 13th on the ladder with the season officially over after 10 rounds. Talk about accepting mediocrity…

What dribble. While the season has indeed got off to a disappointing start, its hilarious that someone could say that we’re two points out of the 8 with a better for and against than three of the teams above us but according to you the seasons “officially over”. Who has “officially“ said this?
We may or may not get to the finals but at least try to fact check your own posts before you post such nonsense.

Fact check?? 2 points out of the 8 and also 2points of last position. How’s that champ? Is that accurate enough for you?

As I've pointed out to you, the BOD were prepared to give Ryles everything he asked for, he was about to sign the deal and changed his mind at the last minute.
How many games in the NRL had Ryles coached at that point in time?

So YES a ROOKIE coach, convinced our BOD that we needed structural changes in our front office to be successful and they agreed to give the changes he was after. It has happened once so it can certainly happen again, why can't it?

Of course when the next desperate candidate who no one else wanted being fraud Flanno came along and didn't ask for any of these things, the BOD were happy to save some work and wages and decided to give him a go.

When Flanagan is sacked, we as supporters need to make our voices heard and ensure our next coach is advocating for changes prior to getting the job.
