I would give flanno another 3 or 4 games and if it's likely we miss the finals, he's out. He's brought too many old heads, and they're all on huge coin.

Now we have zero chance of signing any decent players. If anything we're in the running for the spoon for the next 5 seasons.

Gutherson whist ok is on the downslope, VH is on big coin, Ilias was a major blunder, and players like klemmer are desperate signings

Last year we won a close game or two and people said that we had improved in that area and gave SF a big tick of approval.

3 losses by a point this year and people say we were unlucky rather than admit we reverted back to the same old pattern that has dogged for years and keeping mind S F said we wouldn't beat ourselves well I beg to differ we did beat ourselves.

S F last year and again this year said we wouldn't be humiliated on the scoreline well again I beg to differ we have copped two absolute pastings this year and most likely a few more to come.

S F was supposed to come with a skill set that would improve our lot somewhat despite the bad roster we had well he has tinkered with the roster and despite that we are going backwards and considering he purchased 3 spine players and extended one that is a piss poor outcome.

We have loafers in the team that keep getting selected and we also have grossly underskilled players that also keep getting selected whilst others with some better attributes continue to languish in the lower grade

S F said he wouldn't play favourites well again I beg to differ and believe there are very obvious examples of him doing so.

In the presser the other night he said two very alarming things
1. About CT and the hamstring issue
2. He didn't know what went wrong and wasn't sure how to fix it and he would have to have a review and a look at it.

Well I hate to tell you SF but the CT thing is your own fault because you didn't have him train at full throttle to ensure he was ready to go. You should have made sure of it yourself.

In respect of not knowing what went wrong, nor how to fix it you mustn't have watched the game because what you should have said is that we have players who are not fit enough to play NRL and they have played their last game in the top grade until they can prove their fitness by dominating at KOE Cup, we have players with piss poor skill levels and no amount of training or coaching is improving them and they are also going to KOE cup, we also have a group of young kids who have gone well and are progressing in a professional manner and they are about to be joined by a lot more of them because their lower grade coach is instilling the right work ethic in them and they deserve their shot.

Grow some balls S F and do what is best for the team and wield the axe on BL, K F, L L, M S (push him to wing maybe) and stop f**king about with the young forwards and get T C back to prop, H S back to 13, J D B prop rotation off the bench and swap Liddle and Cook around.

If it is going to be more of the same with you bleating you don't know what to do then it's time for you to go.

A few teams have been flogged this year. Cronulla twice in a row. Roosters, even the Storm.

Three ‘defects’ in StGI‘s game appear so obvious to me - over and above our poor kicking game, halves quality, poor decision making etc:

1. Stationary defensive line - FFS - move up and take the man with the ball! It’s schoolboy RL basic stuff.

2. No kick chase - why? It’s as if we kick it just because it’s the sixth tackle. With no chase it’s pointless. Kicks in play have to be an attacking strategy, not a hot potato predictable action.

3. Our edge defence constantly comes so far up and in leaving us hopelessly exposed out wide. The opposition just needs to spread the ball and we’re in danger of giving away points. Why? This has gone on for at least ten years.

I’m so tired of watching this sort of bog average, devoid of energy style of play. It’s disgraceful.

When SF signed with St George, it came with the caveat that D Young would be his assistant. Unfortunately for SF, he must pack his bag at the end of the year. DY must go now; only his ego and his ex-footy buddies keep him there.

Yes, I totally agree. It is not a coaches or players fault. It is NRL administration at the top of NRL and their rules (6 agains - 7 tackles, etc and I have been saying it for 2 years now in this forum) that has moved this game from sports to Entertainment (aka WWE). Referees are managing the game.

How many times this year I have sit down to watch an NRL game and I have given up by half time. I have lost the count.

Even close games have become a joke. One half one team puts 30 points on the other team and suddenly second half it is the other teams turn to put 30 points. Where else this happens. Yes WWE!

I have posted the same thing a few times over the few years. The NRL is not a sport anymore it’s purely orchestrated entertainment like WWE. I have also referred the NRL=WWE many times on here. So I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Flanno coaching in 2 years has shown the teams kick chase is the worst in the Nrl .
Last tackle on last Kyle's boring kicks straight down the the throat of every fullback ..
Dumb no pressure and the attack slow defence line speed the same every week back peddling watching Kyle every week gets targeted.

Kyle doesn't know how to kick low in the corners or a short kick on last to get possibly 6 again near the line so frustrating if the coach can't make the change as he has with other players he and his son need to go and take his assistant with him after this year .
