He won't be getting an extension anytime soon he only has till the end of next year and has done nothing to warrant it other then throwing in some juniors who were always going to debut this year regardless of the coach.

The last time we made the finals was 2018. It’s looking fairly likely that it will be 7 years in a row without the Dragons playing a game in the finals. It’s pretty depressing when you wish you could scrape into 8th just to be booted out in week one of the finals, but that would actually be an achievement for this joke of a club.
7 years of complete failure - congrats to the clowns who have been running this club into the ground for over a decade now - that‘s quite a feat.

Today's news of JDB not being retained by the club, for me shows that the writing is on the wall for Shane Flanagan as coach.

He knows his days are numbered and I honestly believe he is now engaging in deliberate sabotage to worsen the club's roster for two reasons:

1) So his replacement has much more work to do when they start AND

2) So his son has a chance of being kept on/becoming a key player in an ordinary roster to line the pockets of the family.

Now we're at the point of deliberate sabotage, this fool of a coach needs to be moved on immediately before any further damage is done.
He is certainly not acting in the best interests of the club in his role as head coach.
