We have lost to 3 of the bottom teams this year in Parra, Souths and the Tigers. Nothing to do with poor team selections or poor game planning though... ‍

If things turn further pear-shaped I’d almost half expect him to lean on the Vegas factor as an excuse for at least a month…bloke thus far has been full of empty promises & not much else IMO

Welcome back mate, you were missed.

Just to bring you up to speed on a few things you missed:

- Some are saying Wins and losses don't matter they're myopic at best.

- Others are saying how they're bouyed by the narrow losses of late and again wins/losses are for simpletons, how about give growth and development a try?

- Others are going on profanity filled rants about officials, player injuries and wondering who has voodoo dolls to jinx this high performing team from the great heights it has reached this season. Questioning Lawrie's selection but pretending their man the coach hasn't picked Lawrie over LPT for the last month or more.

- Some are claiming this season is a successful one and we've over achieved considering the bag full of excuses.

I'm sure you'll find more ridiculous things as you're catching up too

Didn't miss much then seems like nothing has changed.. maybe it will take getting our first spoon for people to wake up and smell the roses because this year has been a disaster in my opinion. Flanno hasn't taken any ownership of the results in any press this whole year and he also hasn't blamed his assistants that most on here want to blame, all he has done is deflect and use excuses every single game like some of the members on this forum. Talked a big game in the offseason, said the squad was better and he was confident we would make the 8 same spin he will use this offseason. This year can't end quick enough watching us has become a chore honestly.

Completely agree mate.

Even if we win our very first spoon this season there will be people saying "oh well that's where most said we'd finish so nothing to see here"

So was our win against the Storm all Dean young? Best game we played all season had nothing to do with Flanno? Fair enough makes sense.. You would think a good Head coach would have a role in setting the defensive structures and working out the plans with his assistants during the offseason. He even said he would be more hands on this year which obviously hasn't worked Flanno is up the local having a punt while Young teaches our players how to tackle by your logic..

Doesn't reality suck sometimes ,hard to win a poker hand with a pair of two's but it can be done with the occasional good bluff but for the most of it the person with the flush wins and we are definately the team playing with the pair of two's

It’s Flanos team now
20 of the 28 are his signings and not counting the juniors in the team now
so if it is a pair of twos it’s his doing

So you mean to tell me that so far, from the MANY MANY weeks of losses, flano didn’t even bother doing his main duty of filling out the tick box form for those weeks and DY got away with his poor defense coaching
WOW.
So I guess if that’s the case we need to fire the admin girl because the printer must have ran out of ink and no forms would have been printed for Flano.
OR could it also be, that as you say, DY is only responsible for the defense and when those drills are happening at training,Flano is BLINDFOLDED?
