Yes, but the NRL doesn't have any authority regarding governance. Even ASIC and the ASX etc can only issue guidelines and principles. Corporation law and regulations are established by legislators and legal precedents - ie; parliaments and courts. But, you might be right. If the NRL issues and rescinds licences, they probably can establish some qualifying conditions.

Haven't watched one Griffin press conferences this year and don't intend to. Nothing to be gained as a fan.

Griffin proved he is not an NRL level coach simply by playing Mbye for the entire first half. Unbelievably stupid.

Griffin sacked himself today! Keeping Mbye on the field when he was clearly struggling midway through the 1st half then to start him again in 2nd half has sealed the daft pricks date!

Just my opinion but I truly feel if we can have Shane Flanagan as coach next year with Benny Hornby as assistant would be a positive for our Mighty Dragons!

today we lost for 2 reasons and missed tackles was not one of them (Roosters had as many missed tackles as we did).

The reasons were:

1. Hooks descision to use Mbye as dummy half for 60 minutes! We have a speciliast dummy half in Liddle and why he is used for 33 minutes?
2. Lomax missing conversions and it cost us raiders and titans game too. who is our backup goal kicker? Obviously Lomax is down in confidence.

Anyway I think Hook's fate is now sealed.

Improvement in any of these areas could have gotten us the win... gosh we even out-scored them 5 tries to 4.

But the main ones that are hurting us IMO:
o Liddle's minutes.. it can't be a coincidence that everybody else looks 50% better when he's on the field. There may be a defensive cost to running him longer minutes, but I think its worth it.. MBye misses plenty of tackles anyway.

o Our Attack & 5th Tackle Options: 4 tackles and bomb.. we can't keep doing this.. we have had good possession lately, but we don't even ask the defence a question before the 5th.. and even then.. most of the time we meekly hand the ball over. This is mostly on the 6&7, but MBye is frequently the dummy half during these periods also.

o Goal-kicking.. we cant do anything about it (Lomax is the best option we have) but to win a football game.. we need to really thump our opposition (if we are only going up in 4's). I thought Lomax was on today after nailing the 1st.. but he has to keep working on it.

Note: Sullivan has been given kicking duties in reserves (instead of Lobb), but @70% accuracy, he's not going to be slotting sideline conversions either.. there is no silver bullet here in either of the top grades.. we just have to be patient and wait for Lomax to get his mojo back.

I'm interested to know what game Hook was watching, he was distinctly asked why he didnt bring Liddle on sooner, his response was he thought Mbye was doing a good job. There are people up in the coaching box getting all the data associated with individual players and presenting that data to the coaches, wtf you cant hide from those stats !!!

The decision to move Hook on must be done now
We are hamstrung with future player signings , player and fan frustration in particular, till we do..
Some of his selections and use of inter change are baffling
My choice would be either Flanagan , Hasler or Rohan Smith
This gig is going to require someone experienced initially who can not only control the players but the Board ...
Nathan Brown should be brought in as head of development and recruitment
Was totally perplexed by the performance of Hunt particularly in the first half yesterday
Looked totally out of sorts , was defensively very poor, kicking game ordinary and threw at least three forward passes .
How you could have that attitude on such a big day is puzzling
Perhaps he may have been told that Hook is about to be punted.
Sadly Hunt is not the marquee player we needed .Above average player at best ,BUT not a Cleary ,DCE ,Hynes or Reynolds on the same money that can control play and seal victory when on the line .
In recruitment we desperately need that prime damaging forward that can lead the way such as big Nelson or Payne Haas
Our major money should be spent there
If Hook is punted , and there are grumblings from Hunt , i would offer him the exit door as well .Have no doubt he would pick up a gig at Dolphins ,Titans or Raiders who are all cashed up
We must clear the decks and move forward
Give our juniors an opportunity and purchase wisely , instead of the rubbish we have brought in esp over the past ten years.

Unfortunately mate you are the one who's confused.

Liddle might have better on field stats but Mbye was doing a really good job of being a Qldr and Hook advocate.

We needed spark to help Sloan and Jayden Sullivan provides that. He outplayed Sam Walker in ressies the other day. Also, Liddle provides unbelievable spark and everything looks sharper. As soon as he came on we scored 3 tries. Mbye's passing from dummy half is sloppy and cumbersome.........too low, too high too far behind and too slow. How Liddle was left off for 60 minutes has me dumbfounded. Mbye's defence is ok as long as they run straight at him. Anyone who deviates from a straight line will cause him problems

Deadset this is a club in crisis, Kerr leaving is just the start IMO. We need a new coach announced next week, this season is over.
