Agreed…not many of us have played footy…but it doesn’t take a genius to see that the whole team is playing like a bunch of shitmerkins. I’m not condoning the attacks on these players and coach via social network…but here’s an idea. Get off social media or play better. It’s not that hard to run straight, get up, and play the ball properly!
Listened and watched this dribbler’s interview today. He really got himself into trouble bagging the fans (tell us what you really think) and pulled the old mental health card as a cop out. The arrogance, ignorance and downright entitlement to say your fans don’t know and haven’t played footy just shows what a bubble these guys are living in. I’m based in Newcastle and you see the same one-team town mentality here with the knights where they are put on a pedestal. I sincerely hope the rumours of JB wanting out are accurate. By the looks of his beer belly, his discipline off the field is just as absent as it is on the field and he has become a liability to the club.

I can understand if you want to play fg you need to support the coach, but I wonder if the loyal support for the coach continues when he gets the chop. Maybe

they could support the coach by playing well consistently and following the coach’s instructions like when he tells you NOT to hold a barbecue during the middle of COVID (still can’t get over that one)

I kind of get what he’s saying. But jeebus…talk about hypocrisy

Ok, found the invite. I’ve registered to attend via zoom; and yes we can raise a topic.
Mine is: What is being put in place to return Pride to the organisation and improve results with all pushing in the same direction as one club.

grammar not the best but I was rushing a bit.
Good luck asking a question. In my experience these types of forums are heavily restrictive and favour the board. An example being say 1,000 members attend and another 1,000 zoom in the board has set a time perameter of 1 hr. At any meeting that I have attended in my working life this would allow approx 25 to 30 questions from the floor including responses. This is in my view a token gestures to placate the growing noise coming from members

Agree, but even if not read out someone will / should have read it.

My expectation is that they will grab all the questions and sort them into 5 or 6 subjects and talk to those subjects.

I dont think Sully has done anything yet to convince us he will be better than Junior. They both may currently have similar skills at this stage of their development, reckon, tho, Junior has the greater potential.
It’s funny isn’t it, I can’t see how you can believe this But it’s just my opinion against yours. For me Amone is a myth and Sullivan is one of the few bright sparks in our backline when he is allowed to play there.

Last 2 weeks since coming back into 1st grade Amone has been very ordinary just catching and passing no taking on the line, obviously a coaching decision by Griffin. Sullivan outshone him last week both are suspect in defence is the only negative for Sullivan. Interesting to see how the team goes against the Cowboys as its a milestone game for Hunt we will see if we actually do have a divided squad

Roosters will get it back soon enough.. all these sides go through their slumps.. helps when you have rep players in virtually every position... and hoovered up the next generation as backup too.

As for Sullivan/Amone.. tbh Sullivan will cop plenty of flack on here over coming months when we aren't winning.. especially with the upcoming draw... as everyone looks terrible when we are losing the forward battle.. and the halfback will bear the brunt of it.. sadly many of Sullivans fans right now will turn on him.

But I've always seen a far more complete player in Sullivan, if you wanted him to be a 'running 5/8' like Amone.. he could do that quite easily.. but he is also creative, faster, better short and long kicking, can goalkick, a louder organiser.. tackles well above his weight class.. the toolbag is there if we want to develop it with him....

Amones footwork is elite though, and I dunno if we have weight-trained the speed out of him as we do everyone else.. or its just his natural body.. but his advantage is his size combined with footwork... he should be breaking tackles like Fittler.. but he doesnt.. so either we arent creating 1on1 situations for him, or maybe he really has lost too much pace.. but his tackling is not even close to many other roles.. so its a dilemma.. I still think Centre is a possibility.
