Yes, they need to do heaps of due diligence on Ryles. They cannot afford to get it wrong as this is the opportunity to get things right for a change. I hope that they have asked all of the right questions and got back the right answers. And Second they better get another photo of Ryles to show around, he quite doesn't portray that intelligent look to be a HC
Not sure about this one , but hay , he might turn out ok if the likes of Young , Doust and Co stay out of it and let him draw on that winning culture from the Storm and install it here at the club that has none ......
Very true Dave, the thing that gets me about this is the Dragons way of creating drama and innuendo, why cant they just say we have commenced some informal interviews with the candidates, end of story, done. If Ryles wasnt there for an interview what was he there for ?, maybe a catch up with his mates, who knows and who cares, just tell us the facts. I dont really care if Ryles gets the job or not, all I want to know is that they have begun the process to get rid of Hook and sooner rather than later.
If Ryles is the one we have as the Dragons coach for 3-5 years, I'll be happy with it Illusion. I was pleased to see him do well under Bellamy and although so far his role at the Roosters is a bit iffy in that their defence has not been great so far this year (153 for and 174 against) and I'd say he is in charge of defence there, he would be far better than the three previous coaches, including Hook, we have had.
The thing is though Illusion, who does he bring with him, or do our assistants stay ? From what I can see , unless they have been pounded into the ground by Hook, they're not much chop, have a look at our attack and defence , there is not much to say about either.
It doesn't matter about 2 point losses because if we had a real game plan with a real coach, we would be winning those games by 10 to 12.

Hearing Ryles is firming after meeting with our FO this week. If the case then the Roosters must have given him clearance to leave. The only remaining speed bump is Bellamy not staying with the Storm.
