A dragons team hasent received that shamefull spoon since 1938, lets not risk that long long standing record, theres not a coach that will be willing to sign with us that will come and we know what were going to get. I'd rather finish last and have tried than to watch another inevitable embarrassment of a chokathon take place again. We could make a bold move like we did at the end of 2008. Instead we are the club that let's decent alternatives both in the playing ranks and, more importantly, coaching and leadership ranks, just walk on by. Don't tell me there weren't individuals that weren't worth a shot, because there was, and there still is. Maybe it requires some initiative, guts and volition on behalf of the people at the Dragons in power. The club needs to grow a pair and get a grip with the nature of success in the game, fast.

I’m not sure the stakes are that high. I doubt the Mary factor is so influential to say we’d risk the spoon if he was removed. Why I think this is that we have a lot of good experienced players, particularly influential forwards and halves and essentially we have the nucleus of a very good side. Even assistant coaches you would think would get us at worst to mid table and at best - Well! who knows? I just hope he isn’t extended until we see how the team finishes in 2019, I know coaches want more security though but he’s been cut plenty of slack

Most unfortunately you are close to the truth , a dumb , dumb play by a couple of players AND referees decisions cost the Dragons dearly . However as they say the horse has well and truly bolted now . We can still look forward to 2019 perhaps in the hope that it will be the maestros last year at the helm , therefore the Dragons will only improve from there on .

As to Mr. Seibold sneaking around and sending his resume to the Broncos , I can only say that they must be paying him a few quid to take the reins . I believe that their players will take some time getting over that absolute flogging that the Dragons gave them , that they may be in need of a team of counselors to get them right again.
