That’s like six months away and a waste of the pre season.

The problem with Flanagan is that he has form with the drugs guy, salary cap breaches and breaking the nrl rules. He can’t be fully trusted.

In my view, the guy with the toughness to return the squad to being a viable footy entity from the dregs left behind under “generation Mary” is the Hookmeister.

A tough, friendless outcast with a fair record and no board buddies. Play well or die.
