He would likely be not the only one. Frizz's departure was the start of this 2020 mess. Now its team selections, scrimmages A v B Team that mess everybody's head up in the joint.
Mary and his one liners + crystal ball press conference team ladder predictions has been doing my head in since the slide in 2015.

Seibs faces the music after the worst loss in the Donkey’s history.
It was a long interview and one I thought where he was thinking out loud a bit.
One of the key differences between him Mary was that he personally accepted blame for the loss, on my count, at least 5 times.
This contrasts starkly with Mary whom the only time he accepted responsibility, took the liberty of blaming everyone else as well. “ We all have to be better” which we understood, included the tea ladies at the Taj.
Seibs talked about the youth and relative inexperience of his side, but Mary just doesn’t have the same comforting excuses.
It’s not going to surprise me if Lomax is in the front row in a fortnight and Saab gets a run on the wing to try to prevent him from leaving.
Of course the Suli experiment and embarrassing rejection promises to cost the club a fortune by having to paying overs in the coming years.
The club is no longer seen as a destination club.
Still, McDonut sleeps a bit better tonight as the media pack prey on Seibs and his kids.
For all of Seibolds acceptance of blame... the Broncos Management & Board will be sour at him overseeing the two biggest losses in their clubs history (the finals loss to Parramatta last year would have still been very raw prior to last night as well). Unless there is a massive turnaround in the next month, it is more likely than not he will be out the door by no later than seasons end. Negative - they now have the second worst F/A in the comp, and given the shortened season it's going to be very hard to re-build any sort of momentum. Positive - they will get Fifita and Te'o back in the squad in the coming weeks.
Our Maestro oversees some of the worst results in club history, yet still receives multi-year, multi-million dollar extensions. A win against the Bulldogs this week could well be justification for further extension looking at the history of decision making coming out of our boardroom.
The momentum we had going in the media this week RE: the potential demise of Mary has been extinguished, at least for now. These forums and wider supporter group need to keep up the noise and momentum.
Again, this thread was started in July 2016. It's June 2020 and finally we start to see some real media blowtorch on McGregor. Not even a week later, and that media focus will move to another area, and you would not have thought prior to COVID that Seibold was going to feel the pressure again so quickly. In this sport, a week is long time, a month is a lifetime, four years must be a couple of generations !!

Least their BOD reacts and responds and wont accept too much mediocrity
If it is not working time to change
meanwhile..back at the Dragons
No.. The A team B team bullshit is a media g up.. There was a A team and a B team. Both teams mixed with top 30 players. With players regularly swapping teams through out the session.. It was not the top squad up against reserves or anything like that.. All being trained the same mate.. Yes we need a new coach, but this is propagandaIts amazing that everyone that has a run for the "B" team seems to outperform our more illustrious players .
Duffty thrown a lifeline for his training ethics efforts and B team performance/ Korbon simms great B team so is picked and then dropped so supercoach has this perform on paddock show us your ready and you will force your way in . well it would be fine if we were winning but coachy has a ready made out for dropping these guys back after a loss because they have to work on things mantra..
so we have the ludicrous ( yet typical ) aitken on the bench ( to cover for a back injury) when he didnt get a look in for the first 2 losses .. Did he suddenly come back into calculation due to Lafais melt down during corona lockdown and supercoach just had to have 1 experienced hopeless centre in the team squad in case of emergency ? as a steady she will be right moment ( I reckon so ) And if Saab is back from injury and killing it then HE should be afforded a chance on the wing its not like Jp and rava are 2 internationals and try scoring machines ( neither is the whole team)
Maybe just maybe the B team being coached differently to the a team maybe B team are playing LIKE the other 15 teams get coached and are excited about running and passing something they cant do under supercoach ..
Roll on the golden handshake
Look we have to lay off Mary , because as I have said before the Guy's a Genius , as you say he can't coach , but he is a Genius because he is still coaching and will only need to win 3 games in a row and he will get an extension ...... GENIUS ......Webster on the BSB this morning continued to put the heat on L plate.
We can only hope the media keep having their digs.
I'm expecting to see a real push by the clubs spin doctors in the coming days blaming everyone & everything but L plate.
For those that have not seen Websters article in the Herald some of his points were.
McGregor enjoys a close relationship with Gordon, although it’s already assumed he won’t be re-signed when his deal finishes at the end of next year.
That’s a long time persisting with a coach you don’t want and especially one who's not winning matches.
With just two victories (against the lowly Titans) from their past 13 matches, no victories this year, and only one finals win since McGregor took over from the sacked Steve Price midway through 2014, it’s painfully clear the coach’s position has become untenable.
A very simple question: how many other clubs would have tolerated such mediocrity? Roosters chairman Nick Politis would have sacked three coaches by now.
There isn’t enough space in this column to talk about the roster and baffling team selections, but if you’re after one that sums it all up it's Zac Lomax.
McGregor was telling anyone who would listen during the off-season that Lomax was his fullback of the future. Which was puzzling because most other coaches consider Lomax a gun centre of the future.
Lomax lasted one round in the No.1 jumper before being shoved out onto the wing for round two, then back in the centres for round three.
