Or none of the above, and they reckon Mary will come good, and if he fails the $2 shop option of Hornby or Young as new coach would just about do me in supporting this Club..
It's actually a real chance..as the Club has shown no intent in listening to fans and learning from past mistakes.
This is without question the most likely outcome

While ever Albert is there he will harbour delusional thoughts that Dean deserves to be and will be the first grade coach.
He wants to create the circumstances by which this will happen automatically with no chance of it failing, thus the reason why he hasn't gone elsewhere to be an understudy and learn his trade if that is possible.
Stillstuck in the past that it must be a St GI person who has to be coach.
Outsiders have no chance with this lot at the helm.

Seems a highly likely scenario. Not that I have anything against Deano or Hornby for that matter, but it sickens me to think that the board and CEO are most likely to gamble on a rookie coach again and the candidates will be either Deano or Hornby.

If anyone ( and I mean anyone ) thought that McGregor shouldn't be sacked should look at the team announced today .

How Lafai could be picked in front of Milne is unbelievable ( did McGregor watch the charity shield or watch any games last year )

All our exciting players not picked - Milne , Field etc and Mann ( not picking Mann omg. )

Picking McCrone at halfback - JD didn't even have him as the cutters run on half back and now Mary picks him as our first grade half back .

Sack him now !!!!!!!

Yes Albert, DOUST, McGregor, Albert Jr , Hornby, The Board, all these parasites must go,before we, as a club can move forward.
Let's just look at this team for Rd 1,no Milne,(best centre last Yr)
No Mann top points scorer last yr.
No Havilli best forward :tiger: trial.
What's Coyne doing?
Why is Widdop even in the team, after the charity shield.
Why is Knightingale on wing, he has clearly lost his speed.
Why is Lafai in the team after his form last year.
What going on at this club, are we being run by a management team full of drunks?

Sad isn't it when the season proper hasn't even started and some are talking about picking a rubbish side or hope in away we fail or don't worry after round 6 he will be gone just to get rid of the coach.....no one wants to see McGregor gone more than me but I never thought I would see the day when these comments would have to be spoken about our great club.....that's not to say in most cases I disagree.....and after picking Lafai in place of Milne I wont him gone now...for us older brigade time is running out and we want this great club of ours put back on the pedestal where it belongs...watched two 1 hour footy shows last night with various players media and commentators and our club was not even mentioned...sorry only I reporter mentioned that hes heard Mary has got maybe 6 rounds to survive....as I said bloody sad, season 2017 hasn't started and the only light at the end of the tunnel is the lights from another train.....

Watching our club is a bit like watching the Labor party IMO.
The loopy left and militant unionists believe that they are the rightful keepers of the flame and they alone should have the keys to the office.
As a result of this the membership slides, the ideology is confused and tainted and people with any sort of decent brain become disillusioned.
Some hang on hoping it might turn around tomorrow because they want to be part of it, but they gradually get worn down by all the politics of the place.
You don't have to be a loopy lefty or a militant unionists to be able to contribute to the best parts of the ALP nor to help it be successful but unfortunately the people with the keys believe that there is honour in opposition providing you stick to the failed philosophy and don't let anybody with a differing view get in.
So it is a double whammy for me and boy oh boy I would like to see some changes in both before I shuffle off this mortal coil.

Yes the footy show is all about the best teams , the teams that have a real chance in 2017 . As far as the lesser lights are concerned , well they receive a mention to let the viewing public know that there are indeed 16 teams in the competition .

I am beginning to think that we are now in the same category as the old North Sydney bears and the Newtown blue bags many years back . Everyone knew that they existed but nobody gave them a real chance of making any real impression upon the competition.

Until there is a massive overhaul in the ' boys club ' , we will most unfortunately be merely an ' also ran ' . However by having another coach ' outside of the system ' , that would give our club a much needed injection of change and also hope for the future .
