Mary presser:

1. We made the semis in 2015, only to lose in golden point;
2. We scored 42 points last week and 3 great tries tonight. That's 10 tries in two weeks so our attack is progressing really well;
3. Josh McCrone is a 140 game veteran.

What is your excuse McWrecker. Parra to good we matched them in patches.

I have seen enough to know he is gone. McCrone cannot back a decent match up. He is a terrible number 7. Again silly selection by the bald one.

If McCrone goes out there and controls the game, leads forwards around the park, sparks some great attacking plays, rolls some balls in for repeat sets then we all praise Mary for his selection and for having faith in a has-been. I admit I applauded when we recruited McCrone but that was because he would be an excellent backup.

He has proven time after time to be ineffectual and cannot do any of the things stated above. Terrible selection when you have Mann/Field waiting on the sidelines. We all said the same thing before round 1 and now we are witnessing exactly what we thought would eventuate. We don't have Hunt for another year. Are we really going to throw this one away?

Sorry, but McCrone was awful, as bad as I have seen in a long time. That is purely McGregor's fault.

You can hardly blame the Coach for the amount of ball dropped. And McCrone, on top of that was playing behind a pack that was out muscled, which is a scarier proposition if you ask me. Our game is based on our forwards dominating the middle of the park.
The Dragons were ill disciplined today across the park.
What I do blame Mary for is there was no indication of a plan B. So if we lose th forward battle, we lose. As simple as that.

Who made the call to go right every f**king play? It looked as if they trained for it and strayed away from worked the week before.

And as soon as it was noted the Eels were getting numbers into the ruck, why didn't the message about offloads and short balls go out earlier to spread the defence?

Did McGregor even realise Semi was playing? What was his game plan for stopping him? Or is it too much to expect him to do some thinking??

As usual with a McGregor team, when things heat up, his team his not in the competition.

Positive stuff from Mary in the Presser, speaking about completion rate being 58%, the boys will learn from that, 4 tries coming off their silly mistake's, they knew Parra's line speed was great, 8 day turn around , they trained well, the only problem they dished up vomit again in front of 16000 again.
The $2 man says that the boys will learn from it and look forward to the local derby against the Sharks.
I personally made some coin on this pathetic situation, the problem come against the Sharks, the odds will be to short.
Sharks by 36-6, 3 tries off kicks, 3 tries off our silly mistakes, Barcelona get pumped by Paris Saint Germain by 4 nil, a week later there manager/coach calls it quits for not delivering the result the club desires, then they come out and produce a miracle 6-1 thrashing on the 2nd leg v PSG. So Barca still have a Chance of another title , they still have a Chance of winning the Champions leagle, but their board obviously see some flaws in there current coach, so they move him on, while our board are quite happy with the spew they have dished out since 2012, it is repulsive and unacceptable!

Why was Dean Young in the dressing room at half time telling Widdop how to play ?
The only people in there should be Mary, his team and a couple of trainers sorting injuries.

I wonder if our shiny headed one will make examples of our plodders from yesterday and punish them with a week for the cutters. The standard yesterday was unacceptable and the rot just continued the longer the game went.

What I fear is we still have 22 more games this season and if could be the same story from the last 2 years.
