Well here we are again folks. Another season just like the others before it - this utterly hopeless coach has led the team on his usual funeral march from the overachieving heights of April to the standard pitiful rubbish of August However, this time, we are in the worst possible position. With recruitment no longer part of McGregor's remit, he has been handed a much more talented group of players and the overachieving April stretched a few months longer, and long enough to scrape into the top 8.

This is disastrous. It is already being used by Doust and co as evidence of success, and you know McGregor will be pumping his own tyres with this "achievement" forever and a day.

So, my question is, what is the REALISTIC best outcome in the remaining games of 2018, for the future success of the club from here?

In my opinion, two straight losses is our only hope. Anything else will see McGregor in the job again next year.
Ahh, there he is! Your timing is impeccable. Where you been Grouch? Missed your positive energy around this place, welcome back.

Just announced on 2KB.

Paul McGregor has resigned as Coach of NRL St George Illawarra club.

It is believed a new long term coach has been signed rather than an interim coach, to be annouced this afternoon.
I thought the dead give away was "2KB"

Well, I think knights will beat us by 20.
We come 8th.
8th plays 5th.

40 point loss in semi.
Hopefully goodbye nugget.

Thank god you are back Grouch.
The apologists were annoying me, though they have been reduced to shivering wrecks, they have become unbalanced and scared, they are now in far reduced numbers.

It's great you recognise yourself as one of the apologists.
You called yourself out lol.

The day of accountability is nigh.

The interview with Sims made mention of how they went away from the power game up the middle and focused on the edge. I thought that was weird.
What does our enlightened forum members make of that
