Can someone please contact Guinness World Records and see if Mary can win a trophy for something.
In 2001 after having a hole in one at the 8th (122m) in the comp at Kareela with an 11 wood I did record my achievement with the Guinness World records as I figured zero people would have a 11 wood, let along do so.
Alas, the reply was "the longest distance for a hole in one is xxx distance"
Cannot recall the distance but have the reply here somewhere.

Mary was only 85 minutes away from winning the charity shield.

All the signals seem to be that the review, the mass sackings, the consultation with Gus, the engagement of corporate coaches, the signing up of a premiership winning coach as water boy and spiritual meditation folk has been a complete abject waste of time and money.

It’s the ndis for nrl coaches out there at Kogarah.

The ex saints junior at work, the good mate of Hosty, chuckled and shook his head when I mentioned the shield.

Tiger mates are being drawn to the long drive to the Gong to watch the round 1 slaughter. We don’t know our line up yet. Reynolds having a go is troubling is a bit. Fullback?!

I think expecting the saints to lose is a bit ambitious, four straight wins will secure the next extension before the inevitable collapse once the heat is off.

We all know Mary has a connection to the rugby league Gods. There’s no other explanation for his continued tenure.

The meek will inherit the premiership, something like that.

The off season junket has proved its worth. Our illustrious coach and leader with his footprint in everything as come up with the innovation of red and green table tennis paddles to show our captain when or when not to challenge a decision. So innovative they even put it to print.in the paper
You see he either wants to slow the game down to his pace or simply the players on the field themselves he won’t trust to make the right decision and cost him his job
A control freak with his footprints everywhere in the building
So the overseas junket has worked and worthwhile. God save our dragons from this brain dead rubbish. For those that are wondering red paddle must be for challenge and green to not to challenge or something similar. Mary will paint them ready for Round 1. Hope Cam or stand in captain is not colour blind.

So it’s really a coaches challenge, which in the thumbs of Mary means it’s a less than 50% chance of getting it right. Or as you say, a slow down-the real purpose is whether or not Euan is looking a bit tired or Hunt seems a bit sad.

Just a matter of time before someone in leadership by design wises up and decides to stick a sponsorship logo on the paddles.

Maybe one of those road work companies with the stop-go signs which they use to hold up traffic for 3 hrs so a developer can move a fridge into the overpriced and already disintegrating asbestos filled display unit.

Subject to the strip-search, fans can bring the challenge-coloured paddle to the game and wave it around at Mary.

It’s so sad that it’s seriously funny. I just hope those paddles get a workout to wave Mary to the exit gate and far away after 6 rounds this season.

3. Paul McGregor to finally be sacked as Dragons coach
He's the most under-pressure man heading into the 2020 season, and don't expect Paul McGregor to be given much leeway for results.

If the Dragons start their campaign poorly - which is a very strong possibility - Mary will be on the chopping block.

They have added Shane Flanagan as an assistant coach - but he is unable to be a head coach again until at least the 2022 season so he will not be able to replace McGregor.

Peculiar signings in Trent Merrin and Issac Luke definitely don't help his cause, and the lack of quality outside backs means the Red V are likely to struggle again this year.

No it’s a captains challenge.. but for Mary and his control ways he will make it a coaches challenge. Remember “footprint in all areas of the building” was his famous line from the US

Captains challenge BUT we have to get guidance from supercoach with his paddles !!! so we will have our players always looking towards the box for supercoach to say go for the challenge .. as if he can see what happens without a replay AND theres only 10 seconds to challenge .. I can hear it now at the press conference I was only 5 seconds away from a successful challenge / if only i held up the correct colour etc etc .. Im damn sure a player on the field can see things clearer - just another im the coach and i call the shots ego driven remark ..
And imagine how big and bright an object would have to be to be visible from the box to the field .. does mary have anything upstairs apart from sawdust !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very sporting l thought.
Should be more of it.

Ha!

I reckon Its just a re-print that they use at the start of the Mary season every year.

Plus, with respect to the journo ( who we know is usually pretty good), it’s just wrong.

We all know Mez isn’t under any pressure at all to do anything.

Failure at all levels and abrogation of responsibility is the entire and complete expectation from the board and win.

The continued denigration and disrespect of fans and members is part and parcel of this ambition.

Flogging the jersey off at heavily discounted prices last year ( because supply was way too much for demand) was symbolic of where the club is at.

The club wouldn’t be spending probably tens of thousands of dollars on Mez with Flanno, management spin doctors, spirituralists and overseas junkets and then pay him a massive fee for his services if he was in any danger or under any pressure.

Nope, he’s here to stay as long as possible.

The only reason the club still exists is because of its fans what’s left of the membership who stand up for it against these relentless attacks against it by your pathetic masters.

The only reason you have a side in the nrl is because ordinary hero’s sneak banners into the ground and give voice to the people’s assessment of the Mary elite. That keeps the dream alive.

Results count for nothing at sgi these days except used as more oxygen for the Mary era because he’s quick to claim the smallest good tiding available and then excuse away the rest.

The rest of us fans don’t understand why you put up with it. We respect you blokes as fellow fans, but we laugh at your management. It’s a comedy, but a tragic one for you, I get that. I stopped laughing ages ago. People are hurting.

That clutch game v dogs a few years ago....

Mary, it’s seriously over. You cannot coach at NRL level. It’s a farce. You have brought this club to his knees. How much longer do you want? How much longer do you think you deserve?

Ask yourself this question Mez, would you sign yourself as an nrl coach?
