Yeh DQ he went to Brisbane Broncos after that probably on JD's recomenndation. Wayne Bennett was struggling for numbers in the halves ..Nona still not sighted in 1st grade.
Nona has been at several clubs including Dragons, nth Qld and someone else I think. There must be a reason why he has not been given a go and not all St George's fault.

You make out like Mary is a fool for not giving him a go yet no other coach has given him a go either?
Maybe, just maybe he isn't that good?
It would be different if he went up to Broncos, got his start and made a solid nrl career. Then I'd agree, Mary had a shocker. But thats not the case.
Nona isn't playing NRL because he isn't good enough and Mary identified that.

Exactly. He’s been at Cowboys, Broncos, Storm and Dragons. If Craig Bellamy, Paul Green and Wayne Bennett didn’t think he was good enough, how come Mary’s an idiot for not playing him?
