I'm not critical of House, he's one dimensional, a generic worker bee and the reality is that if our luck wasn't so bad, Snowy, Alex and Packer would likely be in front of him and he'd be battling for a bench spot.

He's playing a role assigned him by the coach and frankly doesn't have the wherewithal to carry it out.

He was fantastic in the middle. No idea why we try to play him anywhere else. He's quality off the bench and deserves to be playing from it, not on the edges. Looking back at the Broncos game, it showed that's just not in his game to play on the edge. He didn't have the confidence to offload the ball despite perfect opportunities.

Did you miss the part where we were desperate to keep him but couldn't compete with the money from the Roosters?

It's not like we cast him aside or didn't want him. I don't understand your criticism of the club... are you upset that they couldn't be as wealthy as the Roosters?

I wonder if the club is actually doing much behind the scenes at all to go out and sign players. I doubt it. Don't know about you lot but I find this club extraordinarily trying at present. We are stuck in yesteryear and until WESTS and the NRL stop the code of silence I will remain very skeptical. It is almost cruel we went one game shy of the GF and are so incompetent we went backwards as far as we have. The Broncos showed why we are so far behind it. facing a potential dismantling of their side and huge fines and penalties for cap breaches they turn up and flog Manly.
