Schindler's List - notably the scene where the one armed "vital worker" is excecuted when shovelling snow, when the little girl in red is walking around the town as the Nazis round up all the Poles, and finally, the scene at the end when the workers give the Schindler the ring with the inscription "He who saves a life saves the world entire", and then breaks down thinking that he could have saved more lives. Easily the most touching movie I have ever seen.
TV episodes - the MASH episode when Henry Blake dies. That last scene in particular. And the final movie length episode, which I thought was excellent.
