i cried :( ... and also the episode about fry's brother and the lucky clover, also sad :(

as for movies, parts of "Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War" were pretty sad... espcially if you have a brother..

I found Forest Gump really sad when his mum dies then the love of his life. Same when he sees his son for the first time. Also Shawshank Redemption, but thats more inspirational :D

Schindler's List - notably the scene where the one armed "vital worker" is excecuted when shovelling snow, when the little girl in red is walking around the town as the Nazis round up all the Poles, and finally, the scene at the end when the workers give the Schindler the ring with the inscription "He who saves a life saves the world entire", and then breaks down thinking that he could have saved more lives. Easily the most touching movie I have ever seen.

TV episodes - the MASH episode when Henry Blake dies. That last scene in particular. And the final movie length episode, which I thought was excellent.

I remember watching ER a few years ago. One of the main characters dies of cancer on the beach next to his wife and kid. They had the whole episode dedicated to his death. Can't remember the name of the character though...

Edit: Characters name was Mark Greene.
