I'll be doing the match report for St Helens sometime today, they battled well under the circumstances, no preparation, injuries to their star player etc. Gutsy win

Saints brought 2 age groups over and the under 15's play Wests tomorrow at Campbelltown.

Very wise move on Saints behalf.Great experience for these young blokes. This move will definately pay off in future years.

The younger half of the Saints touring squad had an outstanding 14-0 win tonight against the Wests elite development squad. A great defensive display to go with a couple of superb long range tries.

Just quickly

I saw the St Helens Vs. Newcastle match and was really pleased. A good and young side. My stand out players would have been Karl Ashall and Jamie Foster. Shaun McGennis had a good game and Mike Welsby had a HUGE club following
