I dont know why we signed him :(when we had Leo Clarke who played a hand full of games at the end of the season . He played solidly during the first div also . He can also kick goals when Riddell was off the park . If Wests sign Leo its there gain and our loss !

Pecker, Clarke has already signed with the Tigers for season 2003. Not sure of the terms but he is definitely a Tiger now.

I sense a notion of resignation in the tone of Pecker's post.

Pecker, I agree that its a big loss to see Leo playing for Wests. But these things happen... all part of the world of trade-off deals and so on.

Personally, I would rather have Leo than Hassan and you are spot on in your assessment that Leo's versatility as a goal kicker shouldnt be underestimated.

Let's just wish him the best and hope that he doesnt come back to bite us.

Get real boys.Leo Clarke had the potential to become a cult figurehead for failure.f**king him off was a good decision. At least with this new bloke the jury is out.
Why the dragons persist in signing players who are at best ordinary is beyond me.
Surely the formula is simple.
If they have the potential to play rep footy or already play rep footy, sign them, otherwise don't bother.

The problem with Hassan is that he has the attention span of a goldfish. When he has his mind on the job he shows some talent (although his lack of speed is still a problem) but he spends half the game looking at the crowd, the sky, the scoreboard...anything but the game I'm not sorry he's gone

both of those are probably equally likely he wasn't any better in first division but then again peter cameroux isn't exactly a master coach either I hope he goes well for saints but i wouldn't pin your hopes on him

Ah come on Brook, were u not the same Brook who hates Kevin McGuiness? lol Excuse my ignorance, he may not be the greatest of defenders, but i always thought he was a great attacking player given some room. Id say Hassan will develop into a player like that in the future

lol moffo do yourself a favour

find yourself some of kevins footage from last year

he has amazing talent - but a lot of players have had amazing talent and done nothing with it, he simply doesn't have the attitude of a first grade footballer, he's selfish (both on and off the field - watch how often his winger ever gets the ball), blames everyone but himself for his own problems and only puts effort in when he feels he wants to

the one or two brilliant games a year he will have simply isn't worth the rest of the season of missed tackles and not much else

as for Hassan - as I said, he has talent, he'll never develop into a player like kevin though even if he learns to keep his mind on the job - hassan offers very little in attack but is pretty solid defensively, his pace will always hold him back as a winger and i don't think he has the build to really play anywhere else (he would probably make a decent fullback but I would still worry about a lack of speed)

lol.. occassionally I click on peoples profiles and I noticed yesterday that Brook had made a number of posts in the infamous 'I know you you don't like me' thread by Beowulf from last January.
It looked as Meltiger had two nicknames spelled almost the same way but one had been changed to Brook. I guessed Craig used an offspring name change for some reason.
I was getting confused....:(:Dlol
