Hi Guys,

By my calculations the Dragons could end up with up to 28-30 points by season end.

Having a careful look at the draw and with some reasonable assumptions, we can make this number.

Wins in round 12,13,14,15,18,20,21,22,24,25 should be reasonble assumptions. This will get us somewhere between 8 and 6 on the board.

Admittedly the first 4 may well be a long way in front, but when it comes to the final series, well anything can happen.

I think the really close ones might be against the Broncos, Bulldogs and Tigers, but we should make these and certainly win the rest of the 10.

Go you Dragonsssssssssssssssss

I would add rounds 16,17 vs titans dragons should win and make it 2 from 2 played at the goldcoast
v knights the dragons should win , particular in newcastle the dragons are nearly unbeatable there

Round 26 is another game i expect the dragons to win against the roosters

thats right preach, we are not exactly top of the table where we can make bold predictions, we just need tighter ball control and our attack will get better, just remember its a game of two halves.

C'mon you Guys,

Lets look to the future and the good days. Lets be optimistic and realistic too I suppose. I believe we can make this.

As to last team standing, well a month or so ago, we all thought we would be lucky to get last place and now the possibilities are endless. Huge turn around.

Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if we lost this weekend either. O'h well it will mean we will have to win one of the matches I forecast we will lose.

Gaba, I hope your right, but I honestly think we will be pushing it to get those as well.

Round 14, yes but it may well be the hardest match we will have :):)

Am I the eternal optimist, well all I need is a spark to get me going and that spark was last weekend (I don't mean that fabulous flare, any more coming at the Souths game?) when Manly suffered at our hands. I know we have been Manly's hoodoo team, but that win just shows what the boys can do. I know it is stating the obvious, but that is now the big 4 beaten. If we can beat all these guys, then anything is a possibility.

Do I believe we can get to the GF, at this point I would have to say no. But once in the final series anything can happen, and in the past, has done.

It must be my undying love for Saint George (sorry Steelers) that makes me wish them success for the remainder of the season, and that perhaps clouds my judgement a little.

O'h well time will see.

Regards you guys

Very optimistic OP, I try not to get too carried away and take it one game at a time, hopefully we will win enough games to get into the finals, if not I will just take it as part of a rebuilding phase as I have already lowered my expectations.

What are you laughing at Mr Red, we'll do it old chap. The only thing that may come to haunt us is a mass (or even a few) of injuries. You maaaark my words.:shock:

Weeeeel do it.

I'm one for getting behind the boys, but think about it..

We have sucked all year and we have just won our 2nd game in a row..

I'd love to kick ass in just 1 game first before making such a bold prediction..

I no you need to positive, but if you expect to iwn those games you are basically saying you should win 13/15 games from now. that is crazy, no team will win 13 from 15, its too much, even for the storm cause the teams are more even this year. realistically i reckon the dragons could get 8-10 from 15

Won't happen. We play a couple of genuine home games, with the remainder at a neutral venue or away. Enjoy each win - a few weeks ago, it looked like we'd be lucky to win one in a row.
Much improved the last few weeks, but we aint gonna win at that percentage for the rest of the year...

Possible (1996 Saints team for example), albeit unlikely. Would be bloody sweet if it did happen, though. I still stand by my comment in another thread that we will finish 6th or better come round 26. From there anything can happen.

I think our chance of getting 30 points is the same as me staring in a porn flick with the cheergirls of a famous U S grid iron team , but dream's are eternal .

OK Father Ted, I may have exaggerated a bit, say we compromise and make it 28 points definitely.

By the way, I would like to see that flick. I'd join you as co-star, but at my age your d*ck starts to grow inwards. In fact if my d*ck was 6 inches shorter, I'd have a 4 inch fanny
