considering clayton played about three games and the fact he struggled to hold onto the ball in those three games. Not to mention is defense. Then yeh I am going to say Mark was more effective. Dont get me started on miles as I think he is one of the most useless cats ever to strap on a football boot. Lee Murphy and Darren Clarke were fast, it didnt make them good footballers

by the way Im assuming you didnt watch any games last year vicious because Mark had improved his pace dramatically and continuously beat Miles when chasing the ball or other teams players

O'hallaran was a really good young player. His defense was always very good and he improved his attack in first division where he became the dominant player in the side. His pace was also very good, as ST points out. I was pissed off that we let him go, but was told he was asking for big money (which he received in england) so I can understand why he wasn't retained. But, to say he wasn't a quality player simply shows how little attention you paid to his work. A dependable player in first grade is absolutely invaluable, and mark was our most dependable back.

I think miles is one of the worst backs to be involved with a first grade side. He can barely play the ball properly, is always dicy under the high ball, has half hearted defense and no attacking awareness. His only advantage is the fact he can run.

You blokes must be kidding.Miles was the leading tryscore a few seasons back when playing for the Roosters. He was close to our best player against the Dragons untill being injured.Who in the current team would you replace with O`Halloran?
I reckon we have better players in our two Flegg sides than MOH!

Miles is terrible. I was disgusted when the club signed. Added he has dramatically lost a lot of pace over the last couple of years. I would put O'Halloran on the wing for fitzy and then I would think we would have a pretty complete outfit right now. Mind you I would replace him with Richards when he is fit

Mate Miles scored three tries from 20 games last year. Hardly, a productive output by a guy who is a known weakness in defense

Miles scored his first try of the season in Round 21 last season, i think he had played every game

He tries hard, but he is average, and as B Tiger said the man cannot play the ball, he fumbles and drops it all the time, and when he does get it right he does it illegaly anyway
