England prop Sam Burgess has been targeted by defending NRL premiers Manly.
The 20-year-old is currently contracted to English Super League club Bradford but has held talks with the Sea Eagles.
"We have spoken to Sam and he has made no secret of the fact that he wants to come and play down here," Manly's recruitment chief Noel Cleal told Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper.
"He probably is the pick of the next generation in England."

Burgess is only just turned 18 when he played for GB Vs NZ and smashed Moi Moi about three times before Fui Fui got him later on with a high shot.

He's a superb player in all respects, don't get suckered in by the big hits (which he does often) he's also a great footballer with ball in hand and can also switch to be a devastating wide running back row.

I've seen him kick goals and do a decent job of field kicking as well as play loose forward and control a Super League game with the maturity of someone much older than he is
