I was also annoyed by how quickly the video ref decided on the Price try. He only took one look at the wide shot, and not in slow motion. Same with the incident in the first half where they ruled that Bird stripped it from Williams, so Cronulla had to drop out - they only showed the second half of the tackle, and only once.

The lazy bugger is paid to look at them properly. :evil:

Your right Millers the most frustrating thing for me was my wife who dosn't follow the footy realy was asking me all game " why arn't the bulldogs being penalised for that there doing it all the time as well" {play the ball area}If my wife could see it, why on gods earth couldn't Archer. :evil:

I'm pretty sure there is no rule against tackling a guy in the air in League, it is illegal in Union. Salior has been done a couple of times in union for it, his old league habbits.

Looks like we're in for another bad year from the refs - i can't understand why we always cop the raw end from the pricks. The Bulldogs have brought the game to its knees yet are still treated like gods from the refs - are they scared of the repercussions of rampant dogs supporters if they lose? We were robbed tonight.

Archer was very good up until the point where Peachey was over and he didn't go upstairs. After that he was anything but good. The ten in the bin was a laugh, all the ruck penalties to them were ok (except for Anasta) but he didn't penalise them for the same thing. He got plenty wrong with the knock ons etc but the worst one was the one where he marched Peachey. Peachey was contesting the ball and Archer penalised him for tackling the bloke in the air. Totally wrong and cost us a chance for the last gasp win.

If my wife could see it, why on gods earth couldn't Archer.

After making a comment to my girlfriend on Mr Archer whilst he was once again proving his incompetence, she asked me;

"Why don't they just get rid of him?"

This very simple question really got me thinking......This guy gets critiscised week in, week out for his poor performances with the whistle and yet after a week or two in PL he continues to get a start in first grade!

IMO the NRL really need to address this problem. Whether it be lack of refs coming through the ranks or whatever, Mr Gallop and his men need to take a look at the ref situation.

I realise there's alot of pressure out there on the field, but when you constantly get referees deciding the outcome of games through their incorrect decisions it becomes a disgrace, unfair and unprofessional.

We would be the worlds best Rugby League competition, and yet we only have two or three decent referees!!

We need more mungrel if we going to start winning . We are not up to speed on the dirty tricks! In the end that is one of the components that wins the game in the last minuets . We are hanging on but they were thinking how to win it, thats the difference , the players get that from the coach.

I am so annoyed.. That was our game, we were the better team.. If Archer wasnt the ref, we would have won.. Anastas a stupid low piece of crap.. Archers a stupid wanker, who should never be in first grade again..
I didnt see Peachey get the ball over the line, because i was sitting down the other end, and i also had no view of the big screen, which is totally ridiculous..
I wanted us to win that game, not only for the 2 points and the fact that we deserved it and were the better team, also because of the stupid dogs fans, i wanted to stick it to them on the way out.. Unfortunatley because of Archer i wasnt able to..
