BRANVAN - if Sandow made his first grade debut in 1972, you might have a point. However, he didnt, so you just look like a gimp.
Uh huh
Nobody is Talking about premierships. We are talking about finals. Something a Sandow led team will never participate in

Not really
Bullsh*t. If it wasnt a pressure game, why didnt you win?

No one said anything about premierships. I think it's funny that you blame Souths abysmal recent finals history on Sandow, when they had an abysmal finals history since his great grandfather got his first boner!

Because Manly showed up with a better attitude than we did after we had won six in a row.

There is a distinct difference between Souths prior to privatization and post privatization. We made the finals without Sandow, with him leading the squad, he choked at the most important times

Have fun doing the same for the next three years

Give that man a pay rise. Or maybe a pie rise.

I know its ridiculous it's taken him this long and a coaches sacking to really hit form but hopefully from now on he starts earning his pay check because whether people like him or not he's a very gifted footballer and can do some great things on the field. Just got to get him playing consistently just like Hayne

You won't want to head into a grand final after winning 6 in a row then
I'd very much hope that we do a lot better in the finals. I think we have the skill and execution (though ur execution was poor this week), but we have glaring weaknesses especially in defence that sides would be mad not to take advantage of.

We are very average out wide and that will be our weakness this year. Sometimes we lack go forward as well. I think we will be found out in the big matches, but we will be a lot better than we were in the Manly game. The major problem there was our completion rate.

We made the finals in 07 and now 12. He was our halfback in 08, 09, 10 and 11. Now his new club are cellar dwellers

I wonder what the common denominator is

It couldn't be the guy who choked when any sort of pressure was on, had career worst performances and ruined our Chance of making those finals against Dragons and Knights in the years that he was here

Oh but look he is finally having some half decent performances at Parra now that all the pressure is off him for the year

Sandow pretty much single handedly revived your 2008 season.

What pressure? We were on a six game winning streak and sitting in second, if anything it was a lack of pressure that caused us to turn up a bit complacent against a team who played fantastic on the night

It's great Souths won six on the trot but being complacent this time of the year isn't going to do the team any favours come semi-final time.

Manly didn't play 'fantastic.' TBH there is a bit of work to do if the Sea Eagles want to knock over the Storm or Bulldogs or any other team that turns up.
