I think the match day jumper rule was rolled back, following member complaints.

But the club do seem to think they can't have an after match function unless it's a Sunday...

I mean, it doesn't have to be a big production rolling out Edgy on the microphone or anything. Just simple informal gatherings in Sterlos after a night match, 9:40-11:30 with a replay of the game recorded and showing and a couple of players mingling is all you need, if the major production has been too hard for them to have more than once in 3 years.

The club could easily throw on some complementary cabanossi and cheese, and we'd be set :D.

Club management have decided they'd rather piss off the fans than piss off the whales... it's as simple as that

And in the same breath tell the fans that they need to come back and patronise the club more often .

Talk about short-sighted.

An Eelvilla fan. Excellent. Too bad Villa have been on the slide lately but, oh how that champions league sport would have been beautiful. There is still hope! :sarcasm:[/quote]

Yes well that 5-0 thumping was sickening ! oneill will crack the whip

When you go to a pub, the pokies are hidden in a room out the back.

When you go to a leagues club, the decent places to socialise and the atmosphere are hidden in 1970.

not planning on drinking this weekend :D

first person to swear at security will be Hellsy - Even money bet.

Nah... I only get angry at them at the end of the games.
First person to get pissed off at the grannies and tackle will be me for sure though!

Just a reminder about places/times for people wanting to meet up...

How about we say if any fans want to meet in Sterlos before the game that one meeting time is 4:00pm-5:00pm (or later for those who may not want to see all of U20s) and another meeting time is 9:45pm-10:45pm for anyone heading back to Sterlos after the game? :D

Maybe someone could get word to the players (incl U20s) about the after session, in case any of them are up for an informal mix and mingle back at the Leaguesy with some fans? That might be a bit much to expect, but who knows, we might be starting something here for non-Sunday games that the club can later follow...

I'll probably make it for the 4-5 pre game meet in Sterlo, but skip the post match, as the train line to my place has trackwork this weekend, and I kind of want to get home before 1am...

Wife probably isn't joining me at the game tonight, so I may sit at the end of the ground with you lot for a change. Do you normally sit at the Leagues club end?

I think everyone from here sits everywhere now, season ticket seat spread in the different stands and terraces... not sure who/where people on here without STs sit to watch the game these days?
