SBW in negotiations with the dogs

This would be a MASSIVE step backwards for the Dogs after everything theyve done in the last year or so to repair their image and earn back the respect of a lot of league fans. Signing a pea hearted little deadsh*t like SBW would undo it all.

The dogs have moved on and grown much stronger since SBW bailed on them, they dont need him and i really hope they dont want him.

So many rumours have been made up by other people on different forums and all over the place. It's all crap.

Greenberg has said clearly we don't want him back and that the club have moved on. I would love to see him back, I stated why in an earlier post. But it ain't gonna happen.

B4L, it's not so much about what he did to the 'Dogs as much as it is what he did to the NRL during the centenary season. For that reason alone I'd be happy to see him never play RL again.

Pity his pea-heart and brain doesn't match his athleticism
True.

True.

I'd forgotten SBW even existed this year, were if not for this thread. The game and any of its clubs don't need the selfish disloyal too often-injured prick.

Are you saying that having Australians playing for Canterbury is odd?

Or are you drawing a bedsheet over your Origin staff?

oh geez loudstrat, sign you up...a future in comedy awaits

just that people are questioning our cap when we have (realistically) perhaps 1 borderline aussie team whereas teams like the broncos/melbourne are full of them. questioning us being over the cap is ridiculous

I raise you moffo and call. My source is Sonny Bill nine days ago (not that that is a very credible source):

- No immediate interest in playing in the NRL, Kiwis or All Blacks
- Currently negotiating a position change at RCToulon because he is bored
- Nursing a leg injury and just wanting to play rather than sit on the bench

The only way I could see him even thinking about returning would be if RCT deem his demands for a position change unreasonable plus his injuries too great a risk and costly to keep him on. He then may have trouble finding other clubs willing to take on that risk for the money he wants and start looking to league, although at that stage league clubs would be wary to take him on too. Taking this into account it would not surprise me if he slowly withers into an has-been and disappears of all radars.

did'nt Gallop say he was banned till 2013 from coming back when he deserted our game

Unless he came back to Canterbury...he just cant play anywhere else. So if he is in negotiations, i would expect that the dogs would be in rather a strong position, given they are the only game in the world apart from lolion.

haha, I love the smug self rightousness of these SBW. The very second SBW is linked to any club & it seems legitimate, watch that club's fans change their tunes.

" It terrible what he did! But, if he really is sorry.... "

Looking like he's gonna sign.....

" Look that was years ago.... "

Signs.

" WHOO! We're gonna win the premiership! SBW is the best backrower I've ever seen! "

And jealous opposition fans will say " SBW is a dog. Our club doesn't need or want him! Our club has morals! "

And I shall lol.

That's because you're from Cronulla you fool.

The great Bullfrog Moore is one the reasons the NRL is so strong today. Show some respect.

We are the family club and yeah sure, you can bring up a few incidents from the past. But that's long gone and it's morons like you who keep trying to drag down the entire NRL by constantly bringing up such incidents that are buried and dead because you feel it will strengthen your agenda.

The family club is something that ignorant pricks like you can't see because you haven't experienced anything like it. You support a club who's never experienced success.

Back in your hole.

You dont actually think that the familys that ran the Dogs 20 years ago, were the reason behind the Bulldogs success? It was definatly apart of the fallout of the club and Warren Ryan. Which set the Bulldogs back a fair bit.

 Like those two old blokes on The Muppet Show who start off bagging everything about the nights proceedings and end up talking themselves into the belief that it is in fact the best they have ever seen within the space of two minutes.

I'd take him at Saints.
