Sonny Bill has taken the early guilty plea for that shoulder charge on Mason.

Given he was next to no hope in beating the charge it looks like it will present the boys with another challenge as we march onwards towards September.

Might be a blessing in some ways. It will give him a chance to rest and recover from any niggling injuries and for the rest of the forwards to lift in the absence of his brilliance.

Can't argue with the two weeks given that it easily could've been worse. The layoff will do him some good as you Chook, also think JWH's mid season holiday may have some benefit come finals time as he'll be a wee bit fresher than his opponents.

I don't think we can really suggest any game from here on out will be a gimme. Teams have seen what happens when you don't lift to play us, so they'll be doing their best to make it as close a game as they can.

SBW will be a loss, but thankgod it's only for two weeks.
