That's just saying the same thing we've known for 12 months. Not even close to being news or including anything new.

Yeah. The writer of that article also reckons the drummer from Motley Crue is gonna play hooker for Salford. So probably lacks credibility.

He is going to Union but wont announce till the end of the season. It the Khoder model.

1. Sign one year deal
2. Speculation occurs for last 4 months of contract
3. Speculation gets your name in the paper and increases marketability
4. Marketability means clubs pay overs
5. Repeat step 1

The upside is your earn big dollars, the down side is you never stay in one place long enough to lead a team and develop a legacy. Will go down as a fantastic athlete that was pretty good at a lot of sports.

He will go to Union with the RWC in England 2015 and then the Brazil Olympic's 2016 and then the British Lion's tour of New Zealand in 2017.

You would hope our sport is attractive enough for him to want to try and win a World Cup with the kiwis.

To be fair winning the league world cup is about as prestigious for a player as winning the pre-season charity shield.

At the moment probably not. The constant shit that goes on with rules and players f**king up constantly who would want to be part of it

You better tell the kiwi players who arrived home to thousands of people waiting at nz airport that then. Or the English players who openly state that winning a World Cup would be the pinnacle of their careers. Or maybe ask hindmarsh or mat rogers what the best moment of their rugby league career was? Or any png player abouty what it meant to play for their country at a rlwc.

Or an medal for Rugby Sevens.

Frankly I think all this "hype" about playing Sevens in the Olympics is overblown. It just wouldn't be that much of a inducement for guys whose main drive is dollars.

The mind boggles. Were the poms actually under the impression that SBW was even a remote chance of playing for Salford City?

Folau staying in Union, SBW returning to Union. Folau never should have left and SBW never should have came back.

Poms have a vastly outsized impression of how big and important their league is.

They have no concept of the fact that they are little more than a feeder league for us and a retirement home for our rejects.

That's funny coming from a souths supporter... It wasn't that long ago that souths were considered the same...
