Wait and see. Info I'm getting is the online schooling is failing hence the reason or the agenda to get kids back to school.
The ‘info you’re getting’. Ha. They’ve said from day 1 they want kids at school, they don’t like them being home schooled. The app helps get everything get back to normal, including kids back at school.

isn’t the idea when you’re coming up with crackpot conspiracy theories to make shit up they aren’t saying publicly?

I downloaded it.
Piece of piss.
Just turn it on when I go into Woolies or Aldi.
That is the only place I will go atm where I could come into contact with someone who is infected.

I’ve got nothing to hide.

Haha. We live in greatest country of all. Won't stay that way much longer if we don't get real.

Why? They were saying that in the 50s according to my old man. We're doomed .
We have generations of young kids who are bright, tech savvy and will help bring great modern advances to this country.
Including harvesting the huge quantities of water wasted in the North of this country.
Including learning how to grow stuff when water is scarce like the Israelis.
Probably they will find the cure for cancer and a lot of this other crap that goes on.
Notice now the bush is getting decent water.
And fossil fuels will be just about the thing of the past.

I remember being told by experts not that long ago, the world was going to run out of food.China is now self sufficient. And our country produces 3 times its needs, yet were have just touched the surface.

Michael Moore the fat leftie from the USA, who looks as if he's just escaped from a wheelie bin, stated the biggest problem facing the world is over population. And he blasts environmentalists(like Gore) making a fortune with some of their rhetoric and ideas.
IOW more condoms .If you don't have a huge burdensome population you don't use the resources that are limited and some bad for the environment.

If there is any lesson to be learnt, it's what is happening now with hundreds of thousands of people now out of work ,due to an incident. The emotional impact short or long term, is impossible to estimate, but what it shows ,is people suddenly thrown out of work(due insert sudden introduction renewable energy as one example)does little for their welfare.
It's got to be done gradually.

I'm not sure whether current high yield farming practices are sustainable and based on renewable principles.

Apart from water, there's apparently issues relating to the production of fertilisers and ongoing supply. A similar principle to how we will inevitably hit peak oil. It might not happen this week but projecting forward 50 years it becomes a concern.

So you could water the desert, but the other inputs could be exorbitant.

I don't know shit about farming though. Just some of the reading I've done in the past has raised these concerns.

The north is untouched in areas ,and lacks reliable water, that could be piped in from rainy coastal areas.
I remember all the water that flooded Brisbane not that long ago, that went out to sea, because the dam couldn't hold it.
Whilst ever cyclones hit, we'll have excess water.
Agree with fertilisers being a finite resource.Maybe GM grains could rely on less fertiliser, who knows.

But it still gets back to the problem, the world population wise ,is suffocating itself.More so in the poorer countries that can ill afford it.

Our country has no problem with lack of water. It has a problem with water storage.

I stated some areas lack water, and water fromm areas that have loads of the clear stuff should pump it there.
Aree we should also build more dams, but the tree tree frogs and the lower flat footed wild parrots will be affected.

Dam the northern tropics and pipe the water where it’s needed. Problem forever solved.

Wet season up north is enough water for everyone.
The build would be mind bending.
I run along the pipeline here in Engadine even that looks like a punish to maintain.

In saying that the Chinese would’ve done it 100 years ago.

Apparently the different state governments won’t agree on who pays to build it.

Yeah it will never happen but the solution is there if they want it.

Well
I’m living with a teacher and 2 school kids
Her side of it is going ok - she runs the online classes from school
My side ..being the unqualified teacher at home is not so successful.
Son in Year 9 is a punish.
If I don’t breath down his neck all day he wouldn’t do a thing.
And that is exactly why it's not working. Not all kids have parents present so in zoom they turn up late, put music on, put pictures up, even send the links to friends to join....its a joke to them.
