Langi didn't seem to get much game time but from what little he did get, seemed to go okay. Late in the game he returned a goal line drop out about 20 metres but unfortunatly lost the ball at the end of it.

hey Eelectrica!!

to make life easier for yourself why don't give us a quick report on each player probably no more than a couple of sentences for each.

eg: Mat Peterson: ran the ball up with vigour and made a couple of errors!!

yeah?????

I thought Luke O'Dywer had a pretty good game. If he continues with that form that will have to offer him a contract. That try he set up for Lyon was great.

There were reports that he wasn't going to play because of injury so maybe whatever was going to keep him out flared up.

Here goes, If anyone else at the game wants to add anything please do:

1 .Luke Burt: Needs practice on Goal kicking. Scrambled well to dive on a couple of balls kicked through. After missing most of last year will need time to get back into top form.

2. Matt Peterson: the Vaeliki to Petterson comb seems to have resumed where it left off. Redback mentioned he had a brain explosion he had on a bomb where he took a player out without the ball. I didn't have a good view of it and missed most of the repley.

3. Lyon: There is a reason he is the no. 1 centre for Australia and it was on display tonight. scored a great try and did plenty of great work in defence.

4. Vaeliki (have i spelt his name correctly yet?): Apparently he was carrying on iunjury but seemed fine to me, scored one try and threw the last pass for Petersons try.

5. Grothe, Looked good from limited opportunities almost scored one try where he dragged a defender about 5 metres, and caught the one bomb headed in his direction.

6. Muckert: Dykes stole the show so I don't remember much about his game except a couple of hit ups and dropping the ball for what would have been a certain try from a Dykes pass.

7. Dykes: Nuff said.

16. Pearson: Was on the field for a lot longer than I would have expected for a big bloke in the heat. Always damaging when carrying the ball.

9. Morris: His usual self, couple of darting runs and looked good.

10. Vella: Could be getting back in form, looked good taking the ball from kickoffs and hitups always seemed to gain plenty of ground from hitups.

11. Hindy: Played his usual game of being here there and everywhere. I don't think he was interchanged. One highlight I remember was late in the game where he chased Toopi length of the field, a potential try scoring move was eventually squashed when a Warriors player hit the corner flag. I didn't have a great view of the end of that play though to know exactly what happened.

12. Caylo: I think the move to no. 12 is a master stroke, busy in both attack and defence, always damaging would have played about 50 minutes of the game I think.

13. O'dwyer: All I remember was he almost scored twice, need help on this one.

8. Fui Fui: Damaging when he ran the ball, in desperate need of match fitness. One thing I do remember is: We forced a drop out, somehow Moi Moi ended up past the in goal. The Warriors had dropped the ball out and Parra had scored and Fui Fui was still getting back onside.

Witt/Webster Only played the final 10 minutes but did a lot of ball work together on the sidelines in front of me which looked pretty good.

Stapleton: Carried on the great work when used in rotation with Vella/Pearson/Fui Fui.

That's about it for me, if anyone wants to add something that I missed/forgot please do.
