I was surprised to see the stay down on the late tackle last night. The commentators were unanimous that it was clearly a penalty milker and a successful one.

After he made a comment in the public about soward, shows he is a hypocrite

He milked a penalty, big deal. Glad he did, i think it was about the only one we got all night.

Oh and BTW, the penalty was for not attempting a tackle, Inu just tried to knock him off his feet after kicking, thats what the rule is there for in the first place.

So the penalty was correct.
Prince milked it for what is was worth
We won

And this makes him less of a hypocrite about Soward because?

And won deservedly..... no issue.

The thread is more interested in the HYPOCRITE that is Prince rather than who won or lost.

Its all gamesmanship,

Halfbacks doing what they do best.

I dont see a problem with it, if you want to call him a hypocrite, so be it. I am sure he or any of us Titans fans will not lose a wink of sleep over it.

Bash away

Big deal, he milked a penalty.

Blokes have been doing it for ages and will continue to do it.

It just makes him look like a dickhead for coming out and spraying Soward.

I believe it would have been a penalty whether Prince stayed down or not.

that sort of shove is te exact reason they brought in the rule.

Inu was neither trying to make a tackle or attempt a charge down.

It was just a late, stupid shove.

Bubbles.

Is the thread title "Scott Prince a hypocrite?"
You stretch it any further it'll snap.

Fact: Scott Prince did a Gold medal dive last night.
Fact: Scott Prince went into a saliva spraying fit when Jamie Soward did the same thing.
Fact: Scott Prince is a diver and a hypocrite.

Someone please rename the thread to "Scott Prince is a diver and a hypocrite" for Coaster's sensibilities.

prince has always been a diver and a cat, even in his tigers days. it seems to be a trait of many nippy halfbacks. something i never liked about his game.

id still take him back in tigers colours in an instant though...

This has been a penalty all year and it is not like he pretended to need a stretcher he just flung his legs around for a few seconds. Every half/5-8 in the game does it when an opportunity presents itself.

IMO theres a difference between what jamie soward has done a few times and what prince did. In todays game it is the same as letting the ball go in a tackle and getting a penalty because the refs think it was stripped. I just hope it doesnt go any further and turn into god damn south american soccer.

Also if you were watching the game last night even Cayless told Inu to think before you act after the penalty was given. He pointed to his brain and mouthed something like "f**king think mate".

Coaster, I was not disputing the correctness of the penalty.

Including you,we agree that Prince did milk the penalty so the answer to my question is YES he is a diver. He would never replace Craig Gower as the Prince Of Divers.
