This has been a penalty all year and it is not like he pretended to need a stretcher he just flung his legs around for a few seconds. Every half/5-8 in the game does it when an opportunity presents itself.

IMO theres a difference between what jamie soward has done a few times and what prince did. In todays game it is the same as letting the ball go in a tackle and getting a penalty because the refs think it was stripped. I just hope it doesnt go any further and turn into god damn south american soccer.

Also if you were watching the game last night even Cayless told Inu to think before you act after the penalty was given. He pointed to his brain and mouthed something like "f**king think mate".

Name these 'few times' you speak of.

There was nothing wrong with that hit. The change of the rule is utter $hit, kickers should not be protected species to the point that you cannot whack them while they are kicking. Play that incident in full speed and there is nothing wrong with it. If you wanna stand shallow when kicking, then suffer the consequences, stand deep and you won't get touched.

Diving and feigning injury is a blight that's creeping into our great game, not just from certain players. The refusal to dive used to distiniguish our great game from pretenders like AFL and soccer...I'm afraid it's starting to become common. One of the first things you learned as a rugby league player was never to show your opponents that you were hurt...that's now gone out the window.
