Scum crowd 17k plus ???

I know tumbi, but they called it at 17200 plus.
Reg's day was clocked at 12k, yet looked more like 15k.
who know anymore. :D

I was at the game on Reg's day too TS, and the attendance looked bigger than 12k to me as well.

It was good to see the Dragons fans making some noise, and I thought the atmosphere was pretty good. There were (of course) very few Cowboys supporters there to boost the numbers.

Anyway, I made sure I made some noise as well, and spent money (on scarves, beanies, beer, hot dogs & stuff).

Dragons Vs Manly is on Monday night. It's a shame it's not Sunday afternoon as I would have liked to attend.

The atmosphere, tribute and occasion was awesome.

As a bonus, kids under 14 were free. I wonder if they counted free entries?

I thought I saw nearly 6k kids sliding down the back of the hill on sheets of cardboard, and another 6k queuing up for the toilets.

That's right Craig. And we draw great crowds no matter where we play. Unlike some other lesser club... Hopefully your next 47 years are as sucessful as the past 47 mate ;-)

They wont be around in 4 years let alone 47.
Hobart Sharkies... here we come.

Hobart has enough problems without wanting the stigma of being associated with the least successful football club/basketcase in the history of the world.
16th place.....

Doust wants to deflate our numbers at Kogarah and Wollongong to justify them moving away from surburban grounds.

The sharks want to inflate their crowd figures to make it look like someone gives a shit about them.

You guys got a crowd anywhere near that all season?
Well Craigy, we don't give away thousands of free tickets at Kogarah. I wish we did, it seems common enough practice at most other venues.

And we don't get any Sunday games... you may have heard the news regarding the right game, right venue 'strategy'. Or maybe you just don't go out. Genuine question: Do you even attend games?

I reckon you don't leave the end of your own street.

Some facts... Pretty sure your Swamp has the lowest average crowd of any the current clubs. Penrith might be just a tad below.

But wait, there's more...

Top 50 Highest Crowds (1957-2014): http://stats.rleague.com/rl/crowds/summary.html#hi
Can you show where Cronulla feature on that list?

But well done on paying us a visit. It has been a while since a scummer dared to venture outside of his comfort zone.

Wow, such low grade trolling. You can do better than that gut.

If you were at the Kogarah on that Saturday, you'd know.

Just a lazy one liner thrown into these churning, Sharks-haters infested waters from the comfortable banks of the broncos recent dominance over youse. Only one real bite though. Guess I'm a lover not a fisher.

I do believe you're trying to goad me into saying something unpleasant about one of illawarra's greatest players, Reg Gasnier. It will never work.

That post just proved it.

Reginald William Gasnier was born in the southern Sydney suburb of Mortdale on 12 May 1939. At Sutherland Intermediate High School, Gasnier excelled at both rugby and cricket. He later attended Sydney Technical High School ("Tech") in the St. George area suburb of Bexley.

Now you knew that didn't you Gutless?

To use the late / great mans name as a forum cockup is below contempt.

2 bites! I don't know what a "forum cockup" is but in a thread dedicated to calling another club "scum" some of you sure get a bit touchy.

I suppose I didn't realise how much mark Gasnier meant to youse so my apologies for any distress.
