Sean Long signs for Hull FC

Jeez I hate it when Aussie fans are so cluelessly out of date. Long is 32. He is not 'struggling in SL', he is close to retirement. Besides, Tim Smith is getting found out every week in SL and there seem to be a heap of people on the Parra forum who want to re-sign him.

Off topic but Saints' Gary Wheeler has been given a new 3 year contract, great news for a superb prospect.
He has been playing out of position so far for Saints but sooner or later he will get a chance in his favorite position at 5/8, they have three exciting prospects coming through in the halves with him, Eastmond & Johnny Lomax.

Thorman is only on a one year deal and his form has been pretty poor so he will probably be released or kept as back up on less money.

ok then ill imagine that he would leave then, yeah the games i have seen hull play they have really lacked attaking fluency with thorman at 7, he is bassically no betta then dykes.

Hull fans want Horne to play fullback.

They want Thorman as far away from Hull as possible.

He has a shocking passing game. Being able to throw a ball 30 metres doesn't make a good passing game. Every now and than he threw a great ball the rest of the time he just kept chucking it when he shouldn't have.

He won't run the ball.

He goes missing all the time (until the attack is on the line and he want's to try and create a try then he becomes a ball hog).

Hes turns the ball on the inside basically every time he gets it.

Hes not a team player, he only cares when he creates a try the rest of the time he couldn't care less.He blames everyone else when theres a mistake.

He is a terrible defender.

He is also a choker. Parramattas effort in 2005 was one of the biggest chokes i've ever seen.

Smiths biggest problem is that he is out injured for the rest of season and probably won't play for Wigan again...

Tony's out again with a recurrence of an insect bite (!). I can't see Hull renewing his contract for 2010.
