Interesting.

Two 30-year-old-plus aged Queenslanders in the Lezignan team tonight... Tony Duggan (former Crusaders before he was deported, originally played one game for Brisbane) and Dustin Cooper (Newcastle, Melbourne, and was Captain-Coach of the Boston 13s in the USARL)...

Nice to see a player older than me still going around.

Former Dragon Cyril Stacul is in the team and is also 30... without looking up the ages of all the players seems like a team on the old side?

Did anyone watch the match. I had to leave the house just as it was starting. 34-34 final score, sounds like it was a good match!

I watched till about half time, stream was a bit choppy to start with but came good later.

Some good tries and defense on display, it really wouldn't take much to get the LER to the next level.

The FFRXIII (or individual clubs) should set up a subscription channel for games - all the English clubs did this for their pre-season friendlies - I was tempted to subscribe to Leigh's to watch Fui...

I actually like their website and its layout, my only problem with it is they usually put the scores up a day or two after the matches have been played.

If you use facebook, try this page, I find it to be one of the best, they upload results (and update the standings) pretty much straight after the matches finish...

So do Pia Donkeys still exist at all? I can't navigate the various french rugby sites well enough to work out what the hell happened to them

No they don't, but there is a new team "Salanque Mediterranée XIII" who plays in Fédérale (last division).
About Pia, I don't remember exactly but there was politic and financial problems, not sure.
