Season 2022 - Positive Only Thread

Alright!! I too much negativity and sadness around here. We have threads companing about everything.

How about a thread to post positive only news and opinions?

I'll start with one: How good has Gagai been this year? Great addition to the squad and I think he should be at least vice captain.

Young looks like he belongs in first grade and is getting better every game.
Clifford continues his good form from last year.
Frizell much better involvement this year.
Mann has found his spot at 13.
Fitzgibbon before his injury look quite lively.

Gagai was been great.
Clifford, Young and Mann have improved.
Young guys like Thompson and Croker look like First Graders.
Plenty of injuries sadly but hopefully everyone is back on deck about mid way through the year and we can make a late season charge.

Clune and Clifford work out well together imo but need to take more control.
Friz has stood up.
Young has proven himself.
Tuala performs consistently well.
Depth in the backs.

We've looked OK without our top players firing.

Depth has been tested but our spirit hasn't wavered in any match.

Kurt Mann experiment has been a stroke of genius - so far.

We have clearly improved our style of play and mental fortitude compared to previous years and the best part is it's clear to see we have plenty of room to improve and nail things down.

The emergence of young Leo Thompson. A big, mobile forward with a passing game is something we've missed for awhile and we've recruited one here

Many people thought we would be 1 from 6 to start the year. We are currently 2 from 5.

We are going twice as good as many thought we would.

Need some positivity before I smash something...

- Best looked amazing in both attack and defense. Hope he stays fit and keeps getting some ball. Devastating.
- Ponga looked super interested today. Couldn't carry the team to a win but if he keeps playing like that, we should win a lot more games.
- Frizzell should be captain. Man is a monster.
- Klemmer looks better the longer he plays here.
- Thompson looks a real find. I want to see him play more roles in the team. Maybe some 13, maybe play backrow out wide.

Apart from the Sharks & Manly games we’ve played some pretty entertaining footy. We’re offloading a lot more and giving our centres early ball which never used to happen.
