Personally think 11 wins should be the aim, if we aim up like we did against Canterbury and dont have significant injuries theres no reason we cant win 3 of the last 4 remaining games

If only we could play with that intensity every week. If only..........

I hope you're right but I reckon the reverse will happen. They'll be so chuffed with that win last weekend, they'll put the cue in the rack for the rest of the year. I can see us winning 1 more game. We've lost something like 10 straight coming off the bye now, going back to covid times. I can't see us beating Manly because of this. We won't beat Canberra who will be looking for that win to lock up the minor premiership. I reckon the Cowgirls are most likely for us.

At the start of the year I thought 8 wins would be a pass mark, based on being a 25% improvement from the previous year. I then got excited after the fast start to the year and predicted more, but forgot I was a Tigers supporter.

Then the whole Gutless saga erupted and basically derailed our season.

The number of wins and points on the table is the only stat that matters, and while there has been another improvement this year, watching us play it seems like we've gone backwards sometimes.

Our defence is all over the place. Some weeks we look like a well drilled quality team that are all in sync. Other weeks we look like the players all just met each other for the 1st time that week. The attack looks terrible most of the time, from 1 out hit ups, to a complete lack of shape when we try to do something structured. A lot of tries look opportunistic rather than planned.

I find it hard to know what to make of this season to be honest.

Manly have lost there last two games, so anything can happen, if this weeks results go our way, and we do get the win next week, our race to the 8/9 spot starts to look interesting.
Rorters (24) play the dolphins
Manly (24) play the raiders.
Drags (20) play the sharks
None of these games are going to be easy for them

After this weeks bye WT's (22), we play:

Cows - H
Raiders - A
Tits - A

Tough but doable, if we are up to it.

We will beat the spineless cows at the 8th.
The only other game I see us with a reasonable chance of winning is manly at Allianz.They are beatable especially away from brookvale & we r coming off a bye.
I don’t see us winning in Canberra or at cbus unless the tits have already wrapped up the spoon.

It is disappointing that we let a few games slip (Knights, Warriors, Souths) otherwise we would be in real finals contention. In saying that we have got out of gaol a couple of times too (Sharks, Titans).

11 wins would be fantastic, but let's be real - It would be the most Tigers thing ever to lose those three winnable games and then beat a full strength Raiders.

The team that spends more quality time at sprint training sessions, on the tackling bag, wrestling etc are better teams than those who dont push past the pain barriers or pushing through mental faiigue.situations.
I think we need to work on our players clocking off mentally when fatigued.
A ex- Wallaby coach once said to me that if you watch a big tiger stalk and kill their prey, the cat is very good at getting the job done at the business end of the fight, the point where they win or lose or fail to catch and kill its prey .
A very big strong fast aggressive tiger that looks very healthy also means its successful.
The opposite can be said for a cat that looks weak and slow and feable....those cats usually starve or get the worst bits of the carcas.

I don't think the Galvin debacle was a thing for us at all. I think we improved when he left. I think the Dogs have gone backwards with him there.
