Toas probably the most frustrating player in the team over the last couple of years. The difference between his best and worst are miles apart. He had some poor errors early, bad handling error then gave that stupid penalty away when we had the eels pined in their own half. After that though he was good, had plenty of work to do for the try and defended well. He does look fit so Im hoping its a sign of whats to come.

Madge was right to persist with him at centre. To'a is far and away the best centre option we have on the books. The frustrating thing for me has been his injuries, but the more games he strings together the more likely it is that he'll get the stupid stuff out of his game. Then we'll start to see less rocks and more of the diamonds he's capable of.

2 games against 2 shit teams.Way to early to be making that kind of judgement re best buy.He is the favourite at this early stage but JL in particular & Turuva will be in the mix come end of season for best buy

We got a replacement for Luai in Talagi, and we have better than Turuva in both McLean brothers.

The McLeans have potential but man Casey has been horrible in first grade. He needs a lot of time in the lowers.

I can’t believe how weak they’ve been on the edges. Talagi looked out of his depth last night. I think the absence of Luai has been telling for the Panthers. Even Dylan Edward’s didn’t look like his head was in the game last night. Wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of the big names are playing injured atm. Something just not right there.

'25-We are already at 3 (all away wins, if you don't count ComBank) and the expectation would be that we would exceed that quite easily.
Amazing what a few decent players can do.

It's interesting because guys like Pole, To'a, Seyfarth have been great for us. We also lost IP, Stef and Bateman. I also don't think Luai or Hunt have been great for us. Turuva, Skelton & May though have been awesome.

Well a quarter of the season is done, we’re 3-3 and sitting in 7th which is a good start. Big next 6 weeks to the halfway point

I really think 4 wins should be the goal here, 3 would be acceptable and anything less a failure. Not expecting to beat the storm ina day game away, but all the other games are winnable.
