I like most are really looking forward to watching our younger players today. However nothing would please me more than to see a stronger and more confident Charlie Staines. He is definitely a match winner!
Never seen anything from Blacker to suggest he's a first grader
Unless hammered trial results are meaningless.
Sounds worth it
Matt Moylan was capable of better things, he either as a result of injury or perhaps not properly applying himself didn’t achieve the heights he should have. It is a shame, but I can’t help feeling he only has himself to blame.
Who covers back due to injury in that side?
Starting side is spot on. O'Sullivan for Cleary if Cleary is held back
Leinu and Sorensen will be there. The last 2 bench spots are up for grabs
Yep this is why I think Salmon is a almost a shoe in, gives us the flexibility we need from the bench.
Not long to go now, folks.
I really need this, as I am mentally fragile at the moment.2 weeks and counting. Only feels like yesterday the GF.
Thoughts?
Predicted Panthers team: 1. Dylan Edwards 2. Charlie Staines 3. Stephen Crichton 4. Izack Tago 5. Brian To’o 6. Jarome Luai 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. James Fisher-Harris 11. Viliame Kikau 12. Liam Martin 13. Isaah Yeo 14. Mitch Kenny 15. Scott Sorensen 16. Spencer Leniu 17. J’maine Hopgood
Sean O'Sullivan needs to be in the side. That will offer a fresh attack option.I reckon this is our best 17 and what we should run with for round 1 assuming everyone is fit. Having said that the number of middles in the bench is somewhat concerning. Interested to see how Sorensen goes on an edge in the trial.
Agree with 16 of them just not Kenny we don't need 2 hookers in the team makes the bench small also.Lindsay smith has to be there hopgood could be the utility and cover hooker if need be he's bigger and stronger than Kenny.I reckon this is our best 17 and what we should run with for round 1 assuming everyone is fit. Having said that the number of middles in the bench is somewhat concerning. Interested to see how Sorensen goes on an edge in the trial.
