Seattle Force not aligning with either league

I am very heartened by your approach Seattle.
Good luck to you all.
Perhaps one day there will be a local RL Conference based in the NW or W US, with annual playoffs against the other conference(s) for the grand prize.

Thanks for the encouraging words, RedVee. You know, having our own conference / league set up in NW US may not be too far away. There are a couple of teams already on the West coast of Canada, and I want to do everything possible to promote the game in Portland, too!!

When you do get a team up and running they will be my US team!!! But as a Canberra Raiders fan can j ask one thing? Can you have the same colors as the Seahawks instead of green and white? I love the colors the Seahawks use!!!

Big congrats to the work you guys are doing. We need more of it worldwide.

Thanks 100%Green. I can't promise anything in regards to the jerseys as we are trying to differ ourselves from the 'Hawks. Though, at the same time, may not be a bad idea as it could potentially lead people to embrace us with the 'Hawks colours- that said though, fans in Seattle are very fair-weathered. They love the Seahawks when they're winning, and put them down when they're losing! :sarcasm:

So, we'll see ;-)

Who are the two teams in the west of Canada SF? I've seen and heard proposals for teams out west but not seen anything concrete yet.

i think its a great idea having conferences based on locality in the usa. similar to nfl. save on cost than teams can come together for playoffs. similar to how usa rugby works and there sweet 16. some conferences may be stronger, but in the end its going to strengthen the areas that the are from while keeping costs down, and sides wont have to fork out as much for travel untill play offs.

Much the same here in Oz mate lol. I sell the merchandise and when one team is winning the stuff walks out, on the other side the team losing gathers dust lol.

Understand about the trying to be your own team though, I just think those colors are awesome together.

Well, having just seen the new "canadian expansion" thread, I guess I wouldn't want to say anything until it's officially released. That said, I don't even know if the teams I'm thinking of are the same as the ones possibly mentioned!

Certainly- and I know the plan for the WAMNRL was to go down a similar track. Honestly, there is no other way to do it on the West. We're still excited for the future possibilities!!

Well, as a local Manly Boy, I'd buy the Maroon and white whether NRL champs or wooden spooners :D

Someone mentioned the other day their dislike towards the lime green strip on the Sea Hawks jersey. I like the colours too!!

i dont know if this has been mentioned but im really impressed with your website and logo if you used the storms jerseys with the colours of green black and white that would look apologies for sounding boganish but that would look sick
