I thought he'd get off for sure but Geoff Bellew just nailed his coffin.

Was it forceful? Obviously.

Did he use both arms and hands? Obviously not.

By those parameters his only hope is that they completely ignore Bellew and go on sentiment.
7.35pm: Bellew has recalled everyone, and is telling the panel members that the emotion around Slater and the fact it's a grand final on the line needs to be completely irrelevant in their determination

If they ignore that plain and clear directive from Bellew and vote based on sentiment, then we may as well all just give up and start following AFL

You got me.. I should have specified one hand as he does have half an arm..

So would this player be in breach of the rule as quoted earlier?

Hands ( plural) was mentioned..

I suspect they're trying to find a technicality but it's an open and shut case based on Bellew's directives. And the panellists know it too.
